I tried to find a nice picture to add in this chapter but it was a bad idea. I looked up some pictures from Colombia with summer and palm trees in them while it's snowing where I live. Now I want somewhere warm :(

Anyway, enjoy the one-shot!

It was a beautiful Sunday morning. The summer sun was spoiling everyone with its warmth and light. The town of Encanto was waking up to the new day, and so was La Casa Elemental.

Sunlight peeked through the thin curtains of the nursery, shining right on the closed eyes of the 4-year-old Lloyd. Strands of his curly blond hair lay messily over his eyes while he was all snuggled up in the thin blanket. He was fast asleep, cuddling his bright green dragon plushie.

All of a sudden, the 7-year-old Morro burst into the room and hopped onto the blond's bed. He started shaking the younger boy in order to wake him up.

"Lloyd! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" Morro screamed.

"Mhm… Mowwo, no…" Lloyd mumbled. He was still half asleep.

Morro kept shaking him. "Come on, Bean! It's Father-Son Fun Day and it's already so late and it's sunny and I'm bored!"

"Mmm…" Lloyd hummed, still having his eyes closed. He tightened his hold on the plushie as Morro started bouncing on top of him.

The floors of the nursery creaked a little as Garmadon walked in. He came over to the children with an amused smile plastering his face.

"Morro, I don't think that's the best way to wake someone up," He chuckled. "Go wait downstairs. We'll be right there."

"Okay, tío Garmie!" Morro said, got off the bed and ran out of the room, knocking over a few things on the way.

Garmadon smiled and shifted his gaze to his little son who was currently rubbing the sleepiness out of his eyes.

"Good morning, frijolito," the father said quietly.

"Good mowning, papi," Lloyd muttered, sitting up.

Garmadon helped his little boy out of bed. He sat Lloyd on a small stool near the closet while he himself looked for some clothes to dress him up in. As usual, his goal was to have him look cool. It was obvious that Lloyd was the cutest and coolest boy in the Encanto, but great coolness came with a great responsibility to dress up with style.

As the father was done picking clothes for his son, he turned around to face Lloyd again— only to notice he was nowhere to be seen.

"Lloyd?" Garmadon said, looking around in the room. There was no sign of Lloyd… except the door that was left open. Garmadon sighed and exited the room, still holding his son's clothes in his hands. "Lloyd!" Garmadon called out, trying to locate the boy.

"Right here," the father heard his brother's voice. He turned out to see Wu carrying little Lloyd who didn't seem too delighted about the result of his runaway.

"I almost got away," Lloyd mumbled grumpily.

Garmadon chuckled at the defeated look on his son's face. Lloyd never did anything forbidden but always loved to disappear when no one was looking.

Wu handed Lloyd to Garmadon, who held the boy in his arms. Lloyd pushed his lower lip forward in a pouting manner.

"Okay, let's get you dressed and then start the day," Garmadon said with a smile, clearly getting Lloyd in a better mood too.
