Back To The Past (Fem Naruto)

Chapter 8

Naomi POV

It's been three years since I came to the past. I have met all the previous sensei when I was going to meet Jiji. I have grown closer with Tsunade-oba and pervy sage. Shisui and I have been getting stronger together with a new sparring partner, aka Itachi. The three of us would train together everyday. We would help one another with jutsus or correcting one another mistakes. Also, Shisui and Naruto have met and unfortunately, they both are too bright for me whenever they see each other. Although I used to be like Naruto, but I've changed. Ahh right, ever since my conversation with Itachi at the Naka river. I always see Itachi. Either on lunch break, buying groceries or even hanging out with Naruto. I don't know why I have been bumping into him.... But I can't say it's not a coincidence because I don't have any proof. Lastly, I have been growing closer with Itachi's family, especially Aunty. Every Sunday, I would be at the Uchihas to help and learn cooking from Aunty. I mean she offered so why wouldn't I accept it? I mean come on, her food is soo heavenly.

And before I forget, Sasuke and Naruto have been hanging out together ever since I started to babysit Sasuke. I babysit Sasuke whenever Aunty is busy. I would go to the Uchihas with Naruto to babysit Sasuke. Although they do fight, but I know they will be best friends like me and older Sasuke. Btw, Sasuke thinks of me as his teacher too. He would ask me to train him if I'm ever free. Sasuke would only ask me to train him though if Itachi is busy or if I babysit him. Of course I would include Naruto as well, cause it would be unfair of me not to train him as well. So my life has been busy.

Anyway, I'm currently training with Itachi and Shisui. If I'm not mistaken, this year Itachi will graduate early. I mean he is a prodigy so it's no surprise. Though you must be wondering why I'm not included. Well, you see. I plan to graduate at thirteen like my last life because if I graduated early. I will become more busy, and I will have no time to stop the Uchiha massacre. I also have to prevent Obito from meeting Itachi so that Itachi won't accept his offer of "help". That's why I'm not graduating early. Ohh and Shisui has just became a jonin this year. Awesome right? A jonin at the age of twelve, he really is a prodigy. But I know soon, he will enter the anbu corps.

While I was busy with my thoughts, Itachi and Shisui took it as an advantage and defeated me. "You know, Naomi. You make want to know what's on your mind for you to be getting lost in thoughts. You've been doing that since morning." said Shisui. "He's right you know. What's on your mind, Naomi?" Itachi said agreeing Shisui. I sigh before looking at them, "It's nothing guys. Just tired, that's all. No need to bother." Shisui and Itachi then raise their eyebrows at me before Shisui spoke, "You know we aren't believing that right? We know you Naomi. Come on, what is it. Spill it." Itachi nodded agreeing his words. I grumble at them, "I can never get away when it comes to you both, huh." They nodded at my statement making me annoyed. "It's just, I was thinking of the future. What events will happen. Will we have another war? Are we still together? Does our loved ones die?" I ramble. They then look at me suprised before Itachi spoke, "Hey, what are you worried about so much? Yes. There maybe another war in the future. Of course we will still be together in the future. And we will make sure our loved ones will be safe and healthy." Shisui then continue him, "Yeah, Itachi's right. No need to worry much. If something does happen then we will face it together so stop thinking negative thoughts, Naomi." I then look at them with sadness making them even more confused. 'Oh if only you two knew.... But I won't tell you guys anything. If I tell you, it will make you guys more frustrated. It's a good thing there is still time before the Uchihas are planning the coup.' I then smile and them, "I guess your both right. I worry too much sometimes dattebane." Shisui then suddenly laugh making me confuse while itachi chuckle. "I haven't heard your verbal tick in a while Naomi. Boy it sure is a long time since I heard it." Shisui said. A tick mark appears on my forehead before I yell at him, "Hey! It's not that long ok! It's only been a year!" I then began to bicker with Shisui while Itachi watch us amused at our childishness.

The next day

Today is like any normal day. I wake up and make breakfast. I made scrambled eggs 🍳, pancakes 🥞 and bacon 🥓. I then hear a knock and went to open the door. "Good morning, Naomi nee-san." Naruto greeted me with his signature smile. I smile and greeted him back, "Good morning as well Naru. Come eat breakfast before we go to the academy. You eat first while I clean myself." He then nodded and started eating. This has become a regular basis ever since Naruto entered the academy.

Me and Naruto walk together to go to the academy when we stumbled the Uchiha brothers. "Hey Sasuke teme, morning!" Naruto greet him. Sasuke look annoyed before sighing, "Hn, morning dobe." They then walk ahead from me and Itachi. I smile at their antics before greeting Itachi. He nodded at me and gave me a small smile. We then arrive at the academy. I waved at the boys before entering my classroom. The day went by as usual. After school finished, I waited for the boys. I saw Itachi approaching me and I noticed something at his forehead. I smile and congratulate him, "Congrats, Itachi for passing the test." He then gives me a small smile. 'Gosh, if anyone were to ever see Itachi smiling even a tiny bit. I bet they will faint. He is too handsome.' thought while looking at him. Naruto and Sasuke then arrive and saw Itachi's headband and congratulate him as well. We then all head towards the Uchiha compound to celebrate. Itachi and Sasuke enter the house first before me and Naruto follow. I then see Aunty and beamed, "Aunty, hi! What are you doing?" She then just noticed me and also beamed, "Ohh Naomi-chan. I didn't know you're here. Come help me, I'm making some dumplings 🥟 and fried shrimp 🍤." I walk towards her and started helping her while the boys are training.

After finishing the food, I ask the boys to help set the table. We then start to wait for uncle and start to eat. 'Ohh I wish little moments like this could last forever. I'll make sure to save the Uchihas.' I thought while looking at everyone. After that, me and Naruto wanted to go home but Aunty insisted we stayed for the night, and so it made me and Naruto sleep here.
