Chapter 3

Naomi POV

It's been a year since I came here. I have been improving my skills and I am now close friends with Shisui. I have grown closer with Naruto to the point we like to annoy or prank Jiji together when we're bored. I have met Kakashi sensei once at the graveyard when I was visiting mom and dad. I haven't seen the other sensei though like Asuma sensei, Kurenai sensei or Might Guy. My interactions with Itachi was limited because I only see him at the academy during recess.

Currently I am in my classroom learning history, although I don't think it's necessary for me to learn it again. My grades in the academy were good and I have interacted with my classmates if it's about school work. The bell ring indicating it was lunch time.

I went to my usual spot and eat some sushi 🍣 and dango 🍡 which was made by yours truly. I then spot Itachi and some girl with brown hair. If I'm not mistaken, her name is Izumi. I watch them go to an empty bench and start eating together. If I recall, Sasuke told me that Izumi and Itachi liked each other but never got together  because the uchihas were planning a coup. I feel bad for them cause they didn't have a happy ending together. I hope to save the uchihas and to see them being happy with each other.

While I was lost in my thought, I didn't realize that Itachi is  approaching me. "Hello Naomi, how are you?" He said. I then break my thoughts and replied, "Hello to you to Itachi. I'm fine." I realized that Izumi isn't with him. "Were you not with a girl just now? I saw you eating with her at a bench." I ask him. "Oh, that's Izumi. A friend of mine. She did eat with me, but then she excused herself to go to the bathroom." He replied. "I see.... Want to have some of my dango 🍡?" I ask him. 'Sasuke did told me dango was Itachi's favourite food.' I think to myself. "Sure, thank you for the dango." He said. We both then start eating my homemade dango while enjoying each other company when someone called Itachi. We then look to see Izumi approaching us.

"Itachi-kun, I'm done. Let's get back to class."said Izumi. "Alright then, Naomi I hope to see you again." said Itachi. Izumi then just noticed me. "Oh hello, I'm Izumi. Are you a friend of Itachi-kun?" She ask me. "Hello, and yes. I'm a friend of Itachi. Nice to meet you. My name is Naomi." I replied. Then we parted ways.

After school, I immediately went to train. I would go to my usual place but today I feel like going to another place. Just for fun. I first do warm up and stretch my muscle. I then start training with kunais and practicing my parents jutsu. I have been practicing their jutsu everyday and I enjoy doing it as it makes me feel closer to them.

I then learn my father's strongest jutsu and my favorite jutsu. The rasengan. I use pervy sage's method. I practice it until I got it. It took me a few hours and it makes me happy cause I just beat my own record of achieving the rasengan only for 3 hours then my previous one.

After that, I took a break while thinking of what to learn next. Oh right, forgot to mention. I have learnt my element release. My main release is wind🍃 of course. I also have yin and yang ☯️ , fire🔥 and lightning⚡ release.

While I'm taking a break, I see a figure approaching me. Slowly it reveal Itachi. "Hi Naomi, are you training here right now?" He ask and greet me at the same time. "Yup, right now I'm taking a short break. What are you doing here Itachi?" I replied. "Tou San told me to practice the fire jutsu. So I came here to practice." He says. "I see, want to train together? I'm also practicing the fire jutsu." I say to him. "I'm ok with that, have you finish resting?" Itachi replies. "Yes, let's go!" I say to him while going to a nearby lake. We both then start to to do the hand seal and blew a huge amount of fire. Itachi and I practice until it we are satisfied.

We then start to fight each other using taijutsu. Itachi was a good opponent to spar with. We spar until one person is defeated. while sparring with Itachi, my stomach growl. "Let's stop Naomi, we can go grab some food for you to eat." Itachi says. "Sure, let's go to the dango shop"I replied.

I pack my weapon and walk side by side with Itachi. It was a comfortable silence between us until, "Naomi, do you always train after school?" Itachi ask. "Yup, but I usually train at my usual spot. Today I feel like training somewhere else." I reply. "I see" He says. We then arrived at the dango shop and order. "Naomi, if you don't mind. I like to train with you everyday after school." Says Itachi. "Of course, I don't mind." I reply. 'Besides, Shisui is busy these days. I don't want him to tire himself.' I think. Then our order arrive and we both began to eat. It was fun enjoying each other companies. After that, Itachi and I walk together to the Uchiha deck. I then ask Itachi, "Say Itachi, if you were given a choice between your clan and the village. What would you choose?" He look thoughtful for a moment before answering me, "I don't know..... I want to choose my clan but I love the village as well". 'I guess that's why Itachi in the past told me to choose carefully in what I want to do' I think. "I see, then I hope you make a wise decision. I know you're smart enough pick what's best" I said. He look confuse on why I'm saying this. But I'm not going to tell him anything. We both watch the sun setting together.
