I wake up and relocate myself, my spot is not safe as long as district 2 is still here. It is just the 2 of us left. I walk through the treetops and stop at the edge near the cornucopia. I see the boy from 2 sitting there. 'I bet he is waiting for me.' I smirk. I sit in the treetops till he starts to move. I found an ax in the forest and had it in my hand. I grip the ax and lodge it in a tree trunk. I jump down and charge at the boy, arrow in hand. The boy is startled but he springs into action. He lunges his sword at me, but I am quick. He manages to get a hit on my leg, causing me to slow slightly. I throw a knife and hit his arm. He hisses in pain, but he keeps lunging. I kick the sword out of his hand and before he can retrieve it I knock him to the ground. I get on top of him and try to stab him but he pulls the knife out of his arm and stabs my thigh. I snarl in pain and stab him in the stomach. I pull the knives out of the both of us. He can not get up. "JUST KILL ME ALREADY!" He shouts at me. He is trying not to sob in pain. I grab his sword and stab him in the heart. I hear the cannon. The anthem starts up and Plutark Hevansbee comes on with an announcement. "Congratulations, Lilly McGready, victor of the 68th Hunger Games. Victor from District 12!" A plane comes down to collect me. A doctor knocks me out to operate on my wounds.

(Time Skip)

I am about to do my victor interview. I am dressed in a light blue and black dress, still with my mom's necklace, my hair is the same way I put it on the first day of the games, just with some added sparkles. I hug Haymitch as soon as I see him. "Did I do good?" I say as we hug. "You did great." He says back. We let go and Effie comes running over. "Hi Effie." I say. "Oh, you did wonderful!" She cheers. I thank her and then I have to go onto the stage for my interview. "Now, Lilly, I had my doubts but when you went into the arena and did the thing with the hair tie! OH how shocked I was." Caesar says. "Well, Caesar, I have watched the games my whole life, and knew what to do." I respond. "You know, that little song you made, why did you do that?" He asks. "Well, I have always loved to sing. But I did it because I wanted to freak the other tributes out." I chuckle. "Well, It certainly worked for me. Now, Lilly, how do you think your family will react when you get home?" He asks. "I think that they will be happy to have their daughter back." I shrug. We go on like this for two hours and then I have to leave. 'I am finally going home!'
