Today is the Victory Tour. My prep team comes to my house in the Victors Village and my stylist does too, to get me ready. I am in a fuzzy dress with gloves. Haymitch comes over to my house so he can walk with me. "Wow, Sweetheart, you look like a girl for once." Haymitch laughs. "Well, I want to look my best." I say. We walk out of my house, and there are cameras everywhere. I am taken aback, and slip on some ice. Haymitch grabs my arm before I can fall down my front steps. "Well, it looks like we startled you." Caesar Flickerman says through a speaker on a camera. Haymitch helps me up and we continue walking. We make it to the train and get on. I take a breath of relief. "Are you ok?" Haymitch asks me. I had accidentally hurt myself when I fell. "Ya, just a little banged up." I say. "You sure?" He asks. "Yes." I say. "Ok. You did good kid." He says. "Oh, yes dear, you did wonderful." Effie cheers. I smile because these people are the closest to a family I have now. I have to go to bed and soon I will go to District 11.

I look out the window and see the farmlands of District 11. I go to their justice building, and I have to do a little speech. I do this for each District till we get to the Capital. The Capital will have a special party in my honor, although I asked if I don't have to attend. I wear a blue and purple dress with blots of other colors, to give it a galaxy appearance, along with my mom's butterfly necklace. I stay with Haymitch for the most part, but Effie drags me to dance with 'important people' but I just follow the other person's lead. After an hour or two Effie convinced Haymitch to dance also. I take his hand and dance with him in the way my brother taught me. On rainy days, when he didn't have work, he would teach me how to dance like how the Capital dances, "You never know when you will need to dance for the Capital." He would say. "Wow, you're good at this." Haymitch says as we dance. "Well, my brother taught me." I laugh. The music stops and we stop dancing. We eat some food and then it's time for bed, we have to go back to 12 tomorrow.

District 12 didn't do much but we had a party, just about 40 people though. We eat and dance some more and I can finally go to my house. "Night Sweetheart." Haymitch says as I go into my house. "Night Haymitch." I responded. I go into my room and fall asleep.

(Time Skip)

I am running through the forest being chased by the other children from my games. They are throwing swords and spears at me, trying to kill me. I run up a tree but the girl from 7 has an ax. She and the boy from 7 chop down the tree I was in. I fall to the ground and the boy from 2 comes up to me with a sword in his hand. "Time to die, district 12" he says as he stabs me in the heart- I gasp as I wake up in a cold sweat. Tears run down my face as I look around to see that I am at my own house. I get out of bed and walk around trying to find anyone familiar, in a good way, but I realise that I am in my house alone. My parents and brother are dead, Haymitch is at his house, Effie is in the Capital. I think about going to Haymitches house but I don't. I turn on my kitchen light and put a pot of milk on the stove to make myself something to drink. I boil the milk and pour it into a cup. I sit in a chair and sigh, drinking my milk. 'Maybe I should go to Haymitch.' I think. I know he doesn't really sleep at night, I didn't understand before but I do now. I hear a knock on the door and go to open it. It was Haymitch! "Haymitch? What are you doing here?" I ask letting him in. "I heard a scream come from your house and got worried." He says. "What happened?" He asks as we sit down. "Nothing, just a bad dream. I didn't mean to worry you." I say. "Lilly, Sweetheart, I care about you. If you need to talk about something you can always come to me." He says. "Thank you." I say handing him a cup of milk. "So, I have a question." I say. "Ask away." He chuckles. "What's menturing like?" I ask. "Well, you'll find out soon enough. But, it's hard, seeing all the kids you help die, year after year. That's also why I drink." He says with a small chuckle. "Well, at least we will have eachother." I shrug. "That's right." He laughs. We go on like this all night till I fall asleep on the couch with him. 'This will be a new start'
