Today is the reaping for the 69th Hunger Games. I am dressed in normal clothes for once and I meet Haymitch in the middle of the Victors Village. We walk to the Justice Building for the reaping. "Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favor." Effie says to the croud. "Last year, District 12 got a 2nd victor, let's hope it can become a streak!" She says. "Let's start with the girl." She says reaching into the bowl with the girls names. "Emma Harrison!" She anounses. I reconise the name, Emma was in my class when I went to school, she has a twin brother also. Emma comes onto the stage and looks over at me with concern in her eyes. "Now Emma, how old are you?" Effie says. "13." Emma says shyly. "Now for the boy!" Effie says reaching into the boy bowl. "Eric Harrison!" Effie announces. Eric is Emma's twin! Eric comes up. "Now how old are you Eric?" Effie says. "13." He responds. "Are you two twins?" Effie asks. "Yes ma'ma." The twins say in unison. They shake hands and go into the justice building. After the time they are given to say goodbye we go to the train. "Lilly, I can't beleave you're my mentor." Emma says as we sit down. "Well, I can't beleave that twins were reaped." I laugh. "Emma's right though. I can't beleave it either. I mean, you're the same age as us." Eric says. Haymitch has a bottle of alcohol in his hand and I take it away from him. "Haymitch don't drink right now." I say handing a servant the bottle. "Lilly, do you have any advice for us?" Eric asks. "Well, don't do what I did, first off. Second do whatever it takes." I laugh. "No no no, we plan to die in the games. We're twins, we want to grow up together but if one of us dies we couldn't live with it." Emma says. Eric agrees with his sister. "Well, that's good to know." Haymitch laughs. I give him a look that says; Don't act stupid. Effie comes into the car we are in and announces "We are almost there, get ready!". The twins run to the window to see the city. I come up behind them. "Nice isn't it?" I chuckle. "Yes it is." They say with a smile.
