AU Sanses Boyfriend Scenarios (M4F)

Yet another A/N(sorry-)

Ok, regarding the lack of updates, I'm sorry....

I just have been focused on way too much lately-

Artwork mainly. As you know by now most likely, I want to make art my job in the future. I'm hoping to post more art related content on my channel. But I'm also working on a Dreamtale AU(kinda just a headcanon alternate timeline but whatevs-)

Yeah... it's kinda dark-

Its based on my X Listener series. I wanted Shatter introduced, ok, not a problem.

Then I thought "what if... Dream got hurt right before shattering and due to the goop no one noticed until he turns normal?"

And so...

The AU/AT(Alternate timeline) was created! I'm calling it Crackling Hope. (Cause flame of hope and Dream- you get it-)

Hopefully it's good. Also the image without his clothes was because he just woke up from his injury, and Night was the only one in the room with him, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

The drawing is slightly older than the more recent sketches. Also his cracks are inconsistent, I'll make a png that I can just add over his eye in the future to keep it consistent.

I know Night usually has breakdowns but... yeah Dream is the sad one this AU.

Basically, after the injury, he stops going to meetings with the stars, and stops going out unless he has a supply of violet bandages. He got closer with a now passive Nightmare, but they don't live in the same house. Night just shows up for regular visits, checking the wounds and after they mostly heal, he comes to keep Dream company.

Bonus shatter on the left-

This was when I was doing studies of skele-natomy (skeleton anatomy) and drew Shatter with that in mind.

Also I know, his goop is on the wrong side, same with Dreams crack, but...

I've seen an animation where Horror's spear incident went through the STILL WORKING EYE, so... I don't see how Dream having the goop on the other side is that big a deal-

(My fault for not using references when I drew Shatter- my bad)

Anyway, the AU was based on my anxiety and basically a way for me to cope with it by writing for it, more on much more extreme anxiety episodes I've had.

Dream can't go out without his bandages, representing me needing a front up when I go out shopping alone, although I'm getting better at handling it. Sort of.

He hates showing his true face to people besides those he knows have seen it, AKA Nightmare. The others haven't seen it, but some cracks peek through the bandages.

It shows how when I meet people, I don't fully show myself. I show a more ideal version of myself if I interact with them... and I wish they couldn't see my body the way it is... I feel awful when I see myself in reflections, as I made Dream in this AU.

I know, I know, "love yourself" and all that... but somehow, I can't do it... I give that advice! But I don't take it... cause I don't know how to.

I'll make a oneshot book for CH on here soon-ish when I flesh out the AU more. With Dream getting a proper ref and such.

That's all from me now, I will continue writing for this book when I find time. It's just been difficult as of late.

(And, quick side note... I realise why the cracks are inconsistent... they're so fun to draw- XD)
