You felt miserable. You had gotten sick because of Echo, Sans' blaster, deciding it would be a good idea to push you into the river whilst on a walk. You were currently curled up in bed, not wanting Sans to find out.

Sure you had come home soaked. And uh...

Flashback:

You opened the door, anger written all over your expression. Sans slowly glanced at you from the couch. He smiled at you, before noticing your wet clothes.

"What happened?!" He asked worriedly, rushing to you.

You sighed, "Echo thought it was appropriate to shove me into the river..."

You shuddered, and Sans instantly rushed you to the bathroom.

"Get in the shower, have it warm, I'll have your clothes ready on the bed when you're done. You're going to get sick in the morning..."

"I'll be fine..."

End flashback:

You could hear Sans calling for you. He had just gotten back from work. You had been in bed all day. You groaned a bit, coughing into the blankets and shivering.

Sans' footsteps echoed up the hall, before he knocked on your door.

"Sweetie, are you alright in there?"

You didn't say anything. Sans opened the door, seeing your form. Your mouth was covered with the blankets, and you looked so fragile to him.

He walked over, "I told you you would get sick... but, for now, I'm not going to tease you about it. You don't need that right now..."

You groaned a bit, shifting. Sans placed a hand on your side, and you stopped moving.

"Shhhhhhh... I know how it feels, being sick and uncomfortable... but, luckily, monsters can't get human sicknesses. Getting sick for us usually is our magic levels running low and-... I'm rambling, aren't I?"

You nodded, trying to keep yourself comfortable. You found somewhere comfortable, and stayed there. You were not willing to move.

"Listen, I may not be a master at human sicknesses, but I know a few tricks. So, uh... do you need anything at all? Maybe some food?"

You shook your head, closing your eyes. You could feel Sans stroking your hair. It was calming to you.

"Hehe... I guess you just want to sleep for a day... but I think I know the answer to this next question. Have you eaten anything today?"

You shook your head.

Sans sighed, "Knew it... well, how about this? I'll go make you some dinner, just something simple, and you can rest whilst I make it okay? I'll come get you when it's ready."
