How you met:

You walked to Muffet's, hoping to see your friend Papyrus again. You knew him for a while now, but he never let you meet his brother for some reason.

You walked in, seeing Papyrus sitting at the bar. He was hunched over a bit, seeming tired. You sat next to him.

"Hey Paps." You uttered, smiling at him.

He gave a lazy smile back, "H-hey, (Y/n)..."

You grew more concerned. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"

"Just... Sans... He's still a handful..."

"Why won't you let me meet him?"

"He just... uh..."

Papyrus suddenly sat upright, glancing around quickly. He gently nudged you toward the door.

"Don't look to the right. Turn left, head straight, and don't look back. I'll cover for you, okay?" Papyrus muttered.

The door suddenly opened.

"PAPYRUS!! IS THAT A HUMAN?!?!"

You jolted back at the volume and surprise. Papyrus caught you, and sighed.

"Yeah, bro. This is (Y/n). The girl I told you about."

"OH... WOW..."

The short skeleton's eye lights turned to hearts, seeming to shift to a purple colour for a minute. You were in awe.

"(Y/n), this is Sans." Papyrus smiled.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Sans! Papyrus has told me a lot about you." You extended your hand for a handshake.

"ALL GOOD THINGS I HOPE..." Sans glared at Papyrus for a minute.

"Yes, all good things. He never mentioned the energy though." You playfully glared.

"Hey, it isn't my job for that. I was about to tell you."

"Sure~ because you didn't just tell me to run." You smirked.

"Eh, just trying to protect you."

"From what?

"My brother's coolness..."

You smiled brightly, looking at Sans. "Well, I certainly agree with that. You are extremely cool. I better get going though. Bye!"

"FAREWELL HUMAN!!"

"See ya, kid."

When you were out of sight, you smiled wider. Sans was so cute! And so innocent too!

When you become friends:

You and Sans had begun to hang out more and more, him eventually giving you his phone number. He began acting weird, but you brushed it off as his cute little quirks.

But you soon noticed Papyrus being a lot more cautious of Sans. Almost as if scared of him. In fact, every male monster and human gave Sans that same look.

You didn't understand. But, you and Sans became quick friends.
