I remember I was maybe 9 years old when I met Lando. I sat at school waiting for someone to come for me and I could finally go home, where I wouldn't be busy playing with Barbies, but I could finally play with my cars and watch Formula 1 with dad. When Lando walked into the classroom, next to him with the headteacher, knowing that he will be our new classmate, I immediately fell in love with him. Since I wasn't the "I'd rather not even talk to him so he doesn't reject me" type of girl, I immediately ran up to him and complimented his t-shirt. Our romance later turned into best friendship, because he realized that he liked Sydney. I didn't even understand why this was at all, but I supported Lando in everything and still do to this day, so I let the boy fall even more into our classmate. I was there with him when he cried because she rejected him. I knew all along that this will happen, but I preferred to let him dream and create false stories in his head. As I said, we are friends with Norris to this day. Our interests overlap so much that while Lando started to pursue car racing more seriously, I watched him in the TV every day, supported him and had his back in everything. On the contrary, while Lando went to parties and flirting, which he still does, I sat at home and waited for the blonde prince to enter my room. It never happened, just like my first kiss. I didn't get information from my parents either, but from the books I read. I don't know which one is better, but it was perfect for me. Before you even think, there was a special reason why I haven't go out since I was 10 years old..
I just said goodbye to Lando. I was on my way out of school. I was about to cross the zebra crossing in front of the school when someone touched my shoulder. An old man smiled at me. As you know, our school was in the deadliest street in town. Lando and I went our separate ways as our house was in the opposite direction.
-Can I help you with something?-I smiled back at the stranger.
-Your father sent for you! Come, my car is there, I'll show you.
-I usually go home alone.- I answered without suspecting anything to the man, whom I had no idea was going to make me walk through the hell of hells.
-Then come with me to the store, I'll buy you a lollipop!- he smiled a little scary.
What do you want?-I asked naively.
-You.-he whispered, then he grabbed my hand and started pulling me to a white, old car. I started to scream so loudly. I thought there was no escape, I'm going to die. He will kill me. Such and similar sentences were running through my head while my tears burned my flushed face. I knew this was the end of my little life. Then the man did what I never dreamed he would do. No, I'm not dead. Worse. He knelt down on the ground, took out his thing out of his pants and calmly pushed it inside. I tried to get out of his hands, but it didn't work, it didn't work at all. I screamed for help, but it was as if everyone suddenly disappeared. He tore off my clothes and grabbed my naked body. After the man was done with me, he left me on the floor like I was some bad machine rag. My naked body stuck out from the gray, foggy environment. Then a brown-skinned, black-shirted man with glasses appeared.
- Are you okay, little girl? - He knelt down next to me.-I'm calling the cops! you're gonna be ok.
It is said that every person has a traumatic day that changes a person or their point of view. This was my day. Since then, I don't really go out, especially not alone. That's why I trust Lando more than my own life. He was always there for me, no matter what happened. And then I had no idea that my brown-haired friend would pull me out of my depression-filled past.
