It's been 1 year since Rick left us. It took so long to be okay for me, the Leclerc family and for everyone who knew the boy. But we got back on our feet. I'm cooking in the kitchen in the house in Monaco. In Charles' house. In our house. At the beginning of the season, Charles asked me if I wanted to live with him, and I was a little hesitant, but Lando agreed and gave us his blessing, as did the others.
-What's for dinneeeer?- Charles said smiling, then came behind me and slipped his hand on my waist. I smiled at him.
-I was thinking of making some fried meat with french fries. Is that okay?-I turned around.
-Perfect.-he said and planted a long kiss on my lips.
-Ewww gross!-Arthur walked into the kitchen and sat down at the bar. Well, yes, Arthur. Ever since that incident happened, he's been with us all the time, but I don't mind at all, he's like my little brother.-Could it be that you don't do it here?
-Could you go home?-Charles rubbed his forehead, and I laughed. Suddenly teh bell rang.
-I'll open it!-I said, and Charles nodded and continued arguing with his brother.
-We're here!-shouted Lando and pushed me aside.-Where is that boy?-rushed to Arthur and splashed him with champagne. Holy heaven!
-You clean that up too, Norris!-I yelled, and there was no answer, only screaming. I rolled my eyes and then turned back towards the door where a lot of people were coming in. Pierre, Carlos, Max... all the Formula 1 drivers and their girlfriends. At the end of the line came a couple of unfamiliar boys. I didn't even know where to turn my head, I expected fewer people.
-Hi! I'm Marcus Armstrong!-said a brown-haired boy, and I introduced myself. I also got to know Ollie Bearman, Clement Novalak, Liam Lawson and Oscar Piastri. I was just talking to Oscar about the newness of being a Formula 1 driver when I heard a jingle. I thought something was broken, so I ran out into the hall.
-Attention! I say a toast! Hello!-shouted Charles, standing on the couch, when I got angry.
-Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc!-I shouted.-You can say as many toasts as you want, but if you don't get off the couch and accidentally break it, you'll end up saying your sentence in the hospital!-I said with folded arms, and Charles obeyed with wide eyes.
- All right, Jesus! Can I continue?-he looked at me, and I walked over smiling and kissed him on the cheek.
- Of course you can!
-Thank you darling for interjecting!-Charles smiled at me.-So I kept saying that I am very proud of Arthur. Of my little brother. We went through a lot, a lot of difficulties, but we were always there for each other. For bettee or for worse! Let's drink to Arthur!-Charles shouted, before I picked up a beer from the kitchen counter, and then I shouted too.
-TO ARTHUR!-after that everyone started drinking. We had a great time, drank a lot and laughed even more. All this was because Arthur entered Formula 2. I knew he would make it. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, the light went out.-What the hell happened?-I asked and in the complete darkness I bumped into a chest. Out of my league started playing from the loudspeaker. Our song with Charles. Flash lights appeared around me. I really didn't understand anything. I noticed Charles smiling in front of me.
-Sarah, you are the love of my life. I have never known a more perfect person than you. You are beautiful and you have a huge heart.-Charles knelt down. I thought I was going to pass out when I realized what was happening. -Sarah O'Connell, will you marry me?- he asked, tears falling from my eyes.
-Yes!-the boy put the ring on my finger, then I jumped into his lap. We kissed each other for a long time, and then everyone came to congratulate us. Lando stood at the end of the line, with teary eyes.yAre you crying?-I laughed.
-Damn, my little Sally is getting married!- Lando bellowed, and I laughed a lot and hugged Lando. The party continued. Everything was perfect.
-----------The next day-----------
The house was full of people. We drank so much yesterday that nobody went home. I was lying next to Charles, Lando, Esteban and Arthur were on the floor. When I got up, I was in terrible pain, but I didn't let it spoil my mood. I'm a bride. It's unbelievable to even think about it. I pressed a kiss on Charles' cheek, and he smiled, and after turning over to his other side, he continued to sleep. I sat up and tried to go to the kitchen as quietly as possible. When I got to the living room I was greeted by a pile of people and everyone was asleep except Max. When he noticed, he waved and I waved back and whispered to him.
-Do you want painkiller?-the boy nodded, then we went to the kitchen together.
-Congratulations again!-Max sat down at the bar when I smiled and said thank you.-You're inviting me to the wedding, aren't you?
-How could I not invite you?- I laughed.
-Where are you inviting him?-Charles walked into the kitchen. I walked over to him and straightened his messy hair. He planted a kiss on my cheek, and I sighed with a smile and answered his question.
-To our wedding.-my pupils dilated, my smile became even bigger.
-If you let me win, you can go!-Charles raised his eyebrows looking at Max.
-Never!-he laughed.
-There was no wedding then.-my friend feigned sadness.
-Okay, that's enough!-I stood between them.-Shall we wake up the others?-I looked at the clock, which showed half past eleven.
-Yes!-said Max.-Let's turn on some music really loud!?-he looked at me and I nodded and gave him a high five. That's how it happened, the boys and girls woke up to a loud noise and shouted for us to turn it off, but we didn't do it. While the others were trying to gather themselves, I posted a picture of yesterday's party on Instagram.
