I walked after the boy in a hurry, I  followed him to find out what his explanation was for what had happened before. The boy had his back to me, maybe he was afraid to look me in the eye. The others eagerly watched what I was going to do, before I carefully stroked Charles' shoulder, making him turn towards me, but to my surprise he didn't move a bit. My body began to heat up, my mood changed from sensitive to irritated. I didn't push anymore, I pulled hard on the boy's shoulder, who had to balance so he wouldn't fall. Turning to me, I saw his sour face. His eyes revealed that he didn't even know what he was doing a few minutes ago.

-Charles, what the hell?-The boy softly whispered a "fuck", then slowly looked into my eyes. The silence almost surrounded me, my eyes filled with tears in some strange way. The others listened silently, not even processing what had happened.-Charles?-I asked for the last time, praying to God that maybe he will speak, but his eyes stared at me just as coldly. I stepped further and further away and with each one I heard my heart breaking. I didn't know why I felt this way, because I don't even know him and he doesn't know me either, but for some reason I felt good with him. I felt myself special. I stared with tears in my eyes at the people who were starting to fade. I turned back and began to walk slowly to my tent. When I got there, I unzipped the zipper and slowly lay down on the so-called soft bed. I stared outside, where the sea shone in beautiful colors under the light of the moon. A tear rolled down my face at the thought, and I suddenly wiped it away and closed my eyes after taking a deep breath. I heard someone come in, and then I thought I detected Lando's peculiar scent. Feigning sleep, I listened as my friend began to whisper.

-I don't know what happened, but I'm by your side.- He gave me a kiss in my head, than got out of the tent. I don't remember exactly when the last silent tear rolled down my face and when the chirping of the crickets finally died down...
In the morning, I woke up to someone slowly pulling down the zipper on the edge of the tent. Lando slowly poked his head into the room, making sure that I was already awake.-Good morning Sleeping Beauty! I brought you breakfast!-he smiled faintly.

-What time is it?-I asked emotionlessly, to which Lando looked suspiciously.

-Two minutes past noon.-he smiled again, but now he brought a little regret into his smile. I lay back on the bed and crossed my arms over my stomach. Lando followed my movements.-So Charles?-he asked the golden question.

-What's up with him?-I stared at the top of the blue tent, and the boy laughed. I poked him in the side with my elbow, and he hissed, and I smiled.-Do you think it's too late to say no to the trip?-I  let out a breath, and Lando got up me up with wide eyes.

-Um, yes? Don't do it again Sarah, you won't you come with me on the adventure of your life because of a Ferrari guy!?

-Oh, because it would be better if it was a McLaren guy, right?-I rolled my eyes playfully.

-I would allow you to be depressed for him. But not because of Charles, so come on-he took my hand and pulled me up.-Now we're going to go out and have breakfast. Then we head home to get your stuff. A picnic and then we can go, okay? - he asked with apologetic eyes, when I said okay.

-Ok, fine!-I rolled my eyes, then Lando whispered a "yes" and clapped his hands together proudly. We left for the afternoon picnic site, which luckily was the same as yesterday, so we didn't have to walk much. When we got there, everyone was there, including Charles. The girls started waving, and I pulled my mouth into a smile and finally spoke.-Hello!-my sentence sounded more like a sigh, but I didn't bother myself, I sat down between Liam and Alex, then gave the little boy a high five. - Hiii!-I pulled the i letter, and the boy's mouth curved into a smile.

-How are you? Are you in pain?- Carlos turned to me.-My head is splitting from the booze.-He pushed his chestnut colored hair out of his eyes.

-Me too, but it's not because of the alcohol.-I sighed when I thought back to the night. Involuntarily, I glanced at Charles, who sent me a gentle smile. I didn't understand why he wasn't ashamed or something like that when he finally spoke.

-Well, I'm completely out. I don't remember anything from last night.-he laughed out loud, and my heart started pounding at the sound of it.

-Nothing?-I looked suspiciously into his eyes, to which he answered just as honestly.

-Nothing.-my heart started to crackle more and more from his smile. I couldn't believe it, but I felt more than just a friend for him. I sighed, and Alex slowly stroked my shoulder and sent me an encouraging smile. It was very nice that he also cares about me, and then I looked at Lily to see if she didn't mind, and the same smile greeted me back. I took a huge breath, then stuffed myself with a bite of bread. Lando pushed my favorite fruit in front of me, the grape, and I pinched it with a smile.

- Well.-I swallowed the food.-I still have to take care of my work related things when I get home. Then I'll pack and we can go.- I looked at Lando, who spoke with a cough.

-Actually..-he said, and I looked at him strangely.-I couldn't talk Zak about having +1 person on the plane.-the boy pulled his mouth away, and I looked at him disappointed.

-Oh, in that case I guess I won't go.- I shrugged.

-We have a place.-said Carlos suddenly, and I looked at the boy who was looking at his teammate. Charles raised his hand and signaled to Sainz that he can continue his speech.-My girlfriend can't come, we can't cancel her ticket anymore. I can give it to you and you can come with us.

-It's really not necessary!-I blew out a breath while Carlos nodded confidently.

-Of course, you have to come with us. Who else will cheer me for the pole if not you?-he shrugged.

-In your dreams Sainz!-said the monegaque driver, to which I involuntarily laughed.

-You should pray, I'll overtake you anyway!-boasted my best friend.

This went on for about half an hour until everyone was full. When we were ready, we got into the cars, me next to Charles as usual, and headed home. It was honestly nice to finally get out and not be on the phone all day at home. When I jumped next to the mentioned boy, I tried to keep as much distance as possible. I didn't even touch the radio. When Charles noticed this, he looked at me questioningly.

-Is there something wrong?-he sent a reassuring smile as I shook my head and turned towards the window. I was admiring the beautiful landscape when the boy blew out his breath and spoke again.-Sarah, tell me what's wrong! Did I do something?

-That's the fact, you didn't do anything...-I turned to him worriedly.

-What are you talking about?-he asked back. I hesitated whether to tell him what happened last night.

-Charles, you almost kissed me yesterday.-I said when the boy's eyes widened.-And when it could have happened, you just left me there.- The boy didn't know where he was looking, maybe he even forgot to breathe, I have no idea. I turned to him again when he cleared his throat and spoke seriously.

-But it didn't mean anything, right?- Auch. His words burned a hole in my heart, just like his beautiful greenish blue eyes.
I mean nothing to him. The realization was so bitter that the words gnawed at my throat.

-No, nothing.-I sent him a fake smile and turned towards the window fighting my tears. I felt that if I didn't do something now, I would have a crying attack, especially in front of the boy who was just playing with me. I closed my eyes, a small tear slipped down my face. The sadness pushed me to sleep, and all I felt was that someone was covering me with a soft material.
