"Its a certain wine." He started, seeming very enthusiastic about the subject. "It was a wine that I shared with friends of mine back in the day. I haven't had it in a while, for there is no one to share any memories with." He sighed, perking up once the food came to the table. You both happily ate your food until another strange voice chimed in.

"Hey there stranger!" You could feel the tension in the air rise. "What are you doing here?" A man with some strange apparel and ginger hair walked up to Zhongli, pulling a chair from another table and sitting with us. His blue eyes had a strange look in them, it almost made you uneasy. "Who is this girly?" An annoyed feeling creeped up your spine. Who was this guy and why was he calling you 'girly'? It made you feel disgusted.

"A friend. She is a friend Childe." Is all Zhongli said, continuing on eating his food with an bothered expression on his face. "Now if you will leave, that will be greatly appreciated." The man known as 'Childe' had a sneer on his face, he somehow knew how to read Zhongli's body language.

Childe leaned on the table, propping himself up with both of his hands. "Well, this friend must have a name. What's you name girly?" There he goes with that stupid nickname again, it bothered you much more than it should.

"My name is Y/N." You said bluntly, shooting Childe a harsh glare. Who was he, and why did he think he could just barge in on us? Who ever he was, he was just plain rude and annoying.

Childe clicked his tongue, a smile on his face. "Well, a pretty name for a pretty girl. Sorry for ruining your date then Y/N." Was this a date? At this point, Zhongli slammed his tea cup down, but not hard enough for it to break. You and Childe looked over at him in shock, not knowing what to do. As long as you've known Zhongli (which was about two days) You had thought he had trouble processing his emotions for the outside world to see, so seeing him visibly upset was something new.

"Childe." Zhongli said in a soft tone. "Since you've made this a dire evening, how about you pay for our meal." He said bluntly, staring at Childe with irritation. Childe clicked his tongue again, pulling out his mora bag and putting it on the table, telling us to keep the change. As he walked away, he winked at you and sauntered off to who knows where. "Again, I'm sorry." You chuckled, taking a bite out of your meal.

"You don't need to apologize, it wasn't your fault. Anyways, he's annoying." You said. Zhongli chuckled, bringing a hand up and covering his smile. You caught a glimpse of it, the smile making your heart beat a little faster. "Don't cover your smile up. I want to see it." You blurted out. Zhongli slowly lowered his hand, a ghost of a smile on his face. Disappointment seeped in.

"I will make sure to smile around you more then Y/N." With only a simple nod, you both continued on eating your meals in silence. Zhongli watched the sun sinking down at the brink of the horizon while you only gazed at him in wonder, wondering what he was thinking about. Was he thinking about that strange woman? Or was he thinking about you and this so called 'date'? Was this even one? We are two people who are enjoying each others company, but didn't dates have romance in them. You thought about the last couple hours with each other, he did flirt with you.

"Zhongli." You said, placing your chopsticks across the empty bowl. "Was this a date?" Zhongli seemed to think for a moment. Maybe it was a stupid idea to ask.

"I don't know." Is what he said, still gazing to the sunset. Well, it wasn't a no.

Now that you've taken a good look at him, he was quite attractive. You wouldn't mind going on a couple of dates with him, then giving him a kiss good night, and maybe marrying him. 'Marrying an Archon. A dream for a silly little girl.' You chuckled at your thoughts. "Well, would you like to go on a date?" Now Zhongli's attention was fully on you.

"A date?" He spoke. "I don't know when was the last time I went on a date, I think it would be quite enjoyable with you. So yes, I would like to go on a date." Zhongli said. "With you." He added. You noticed a small smile on his face, which made you smile as well. "Where would we be going?" His voice had some sort of excitement in it, which was something new for you.

You thought for a moment, thinking about where you could go. Since you were new to the area, you didn't know of many places, but something that you did know is that he liked tea. "How about a tea tasting date? I know that we are both fond of tea." You watched as the ends of his mouth formed a smile. That seemed to of pleased him.

"I think that is a nice idea. I haven't gone tea tasting in quite a while, but I'm glad I'm doing it again with you. It will be quite pleasant." Zhongli spoke, looking at you with some unknown emotion in his eyes. Could it be love? Or could it be something else.

"So tomorrow. Meet me at my apartment in the afternoon and we will go to the tea shop downtown." And with that, you got the check and paid, leaving the remaining mora with Zhongli and headed home with a pep in your step. For once, you couldn't wait for tomorrow.
