The sun shined through the windows, hitting your eyes which caused you to wake up. Your eyes fluttered open, turning your body away from the sunlight. Stretching out on the bed, a content sigh made it's way past your lips. Today you where going on a date with Zhongli, the geo Archon. How many girls can say they did that? Probably not a lot.

After about ten minutes, you pulled yourself out of bed and walked to the kitchen. The way the sun lit up the room made it look brighter than what it really was. This was a sight that you could could get used to. Making yourself a cup of tea, you leaned against the counter while thinking about what you were going to wear on your little 'date'. Maybe you could wear that dark blue dress that Ayaka got you if Ayato ever asked you on a date. This wasn't Ayato, but it definitely was a date. You decided to wear the dress.

While waiting for your tea to steep, you walked into your bedroom and pulled out the dress and a white long sleeved button up to put under it. Stripping yourself of your pajamas, you first put on your undergarments, then the white blouse, and finally pulled on the dark blue dress. Looking at yourself in the mirror, you remembered what Ayaka had told you about the clothing. It was supposed to be inspired by the Mondstadt culture, but had a twist of the Inazuma culture as well. It was probably one of the best pieces of clothing that you owned. You did feel weird in the dress though, it was more different than your usual clothing.

After convincing yourself that your clothes were fine on you, you walked back out into kitchen and lifted the tea bag out of the water, squeezing it so that all of the water that got soaked into it came out. Throwing the now soggy tea bag away, you brought the beverage up to your lips and took a sip. You were excited for today, but also very nervous. It's been a while since you've been on a date.

You never told Ayaka this, but Ayato had asked you on a date a year or two ago. Knowing she would be excited for you, she would blow it out of proportion. It was just a small date, but it was wonderful. Ayato treated you like a lady, but at the end of day he had told you he thought of you as a 'friend', maybe that was the reason you two started to drift apart.

Shooing the thoughts of your childish crush out of your head, you looked at the sundial out on the open window and saw that it was almost time and your hair was still a mess. "Shit!" You yelled out, softly putting the cup down and rushing to the bathroom to fix your hair. Cursing at yourself for loosing track of time, you put it into a up-do style. It was someone cute, but not too complicated.

As soon as you walked out of the bathroom, there was a knock at the door. Your heart felt as if it was going to jump out of your chest. Doing a quick breathing exercise before opening the door, you were finally face to face with Zhongli. He actually had on a different clothing.

What he had on was just a simple button up shirt that fit loosely on his torso. The shirt was tucked into a pair of dark brown pants that covered his leather shoes. He was rolling up his sleeves while standing at the door. Once you opened it, his attention was on you. "Good afternoon Y/N." Your eyes moved up and down his body, suddenly you felt a little warm. "Y/N, all you alright?"

"Yes, I'm sorry. Lets get going." You said, quickly grabbing your mora bag and closing the door. "You look very nice Zhongli." You tried not to let yourself blush, but your body failed you. The blood rushes to your cheeks rather quickly. 'Dammit' you thought.

"And so do you. You look beautiful." He says, holding out his hand. Hesitantly, you grabbed his hand. It was softer than you thought it was going to be. For some reason you could only think of how his hands would feel elsewhere. You could only think of his hands drifting down your torso and between your thighs.

'Why am I having dirty thought now.' You complained, avoiding looking at Zhongli's face. You knew it was going to get worse from there.

Finally you two sat down at a table outside, talking about their lives, and then Zhongli asks a question that catches you off guard. "Who is your favorite god." He says, crossing his arms and leaning back onto his chair while giving you an amused gaze.

"My favorite god?" You say, a bit confused. He just nodded. You thought for a moment. 'What would he say if I said Guizhong? Would he be suprised? Sad? Or would he get upset again.' You decided to tell him. "It's Guizhong." His amused face fell and he looked away. At that moment you knew you chose the wrong option. You should've  just said the electro Archon. It would make the most sense.

Zhongli raised a finger to his chin. "Quite interesting, and why her?"

"She was just the first one to pop up in my mind, did you know her?" It was time to see if he was going to lie to you about it. Zhongli had no idea that you've been having vision like memories of his dead possible lover.

He was silent for a moment, and then he spoke up. "Yes. I did know her." Zhongli paused. "You remind me of her. Guizhong was something special, you're lucky you have her charm." You could feel your heart sink. Is this why he liked you? Because you reminded him of his dead lover?
