"On this new episode of Ghost Files we are investigating Asetuna Mansion in Bakersfield, California, as part of our ongoing investigation into the question: Are ghosts real?" Ryan is saying into the camera with his usual pazas, Shane shaking his head as always. They are standing right outside the entrance making the intro for the video. Shane tries to appear as neutral as always, if not unbothered, but he is nothing of the sort. Shane is honestly feeling very on edge, but he disguises it behind a mask of nonchalance. He has always been good at disguising himself, he thinks.
Ryan didn't know it, but he picked a location Shane had history with, bad history. And it seems they are doing a whole episode, all dedicated to one of his worst memories.
Ryan continued with the intro.
"The mansion, being a meetup place for a satanic group, is said to have harbored a powerful demon. It was said they had the demon captured for decades, before it supposedly got freed or escaped and went feral on their captors, in which are said to still hunt the mansion, but more on that later." Shane could feel dread creeping up on him at the memories.
"Are you ready, big guy?"
It had been a long while since Shane had been here, almost two centuries now in fact; he didn't even recognize the name when Ryan talked about this location, otherwise he would have made up a reason why they shouldn't go here, believe him, still, Shane was nowhere near excited or ready.
"Yes! Let's go torment some kidnappers!"
