Shyla's friends were so busy drinking and dancing that they didn't notice she was gone. When the lights came up, they begin to look around.

"Where the hell did Shy go?" Leshua asked.

"She probably in the back with D ass. I'm about to call her phone." Tyesha responded.

As soon as she picked up her phone. Tray appeared. "Ya'll ready?" he asked.

"Where the hell is Shyla?" Tyesha said with an attitude.

"Damn Ty, don't bite his head off," Leshua told her friend.

"She's at home. Ya'll ready?" Tray repeated his question.

"This heffa done left us here?" Leshua said.

"Right. Yeah we ready," Sabrina said following behind Tray.

When they entered the house, Shyla was in the kitchen popping a bag of popcorn. Her friends came in and stared at her.

"What?" She asked.

"What the hell you mean what?" Tyesha said.

"Shy why you leave us?" Sabrina asked.

"I didn't feel good.  So I came home, ya'll was so busy dancing I just left." Shyla lied to her friends with a straight face.

"Bitch, don't lie to me, ya ass came home to fuck," Tyesha said.

"Who you talking to?" Shyla asked her.

"Don't nobody leave they friends at the club without letting them know what's up, unless you don't want 'em with you," Tyesha said ignoring her question.

Shyla turned around to get her popcorn from the beeping microwave. She cleared the grin on her face before turning back around.

"Tyesha, I'm not about to stand here entertaining you. I told ya'll I didn't feel good. Ya'll got home safe and ya'll had a good time at the club so don't come for me." Shyla told her friend and walked out the kitchen.

"Well how you get here, cuz Tray brought us home in your car," Tyesha said following behind Shyla with Leshua and Sabrina in tow.

"Shyla, yo lil nasty self really left us at the club to freak." Sabrina said laughing.

Shyla couldn't hold it in anymore. She let out a laugh. "Aigh't damn ya'll." She said in between gasps of air.

"Nasty ass," Leshua said and all the girls started laughing.

The girls sat around the living room that night laughing and talking. Shyla missed having her friends around all the time. It had been three years since they were all together. When they realized the time, the sun was coming up.

"Ain't no sense in going to sleep now, we might as well get this day started," Shyla told her friends.

"Cool what we doing?" Sabrina asked.

"I wanna eat before we go anywhere. I'm starving!" Tyesha said.

"I'll make the pancakes," Shyla said.

All the girls got in the kitchen each cooking a portion of the meal. After eating, they all took naps. When they woke up, they decided to go sightseeing. While driving through the city Shyla's phone rang.

"Hello." Shyla said into the phone. As the person on the other end of the phone starts talking Shlya does a fast u-turn.

"I'll be there in a minute. Stay right there I'm coming." Shyla hangs up the phone and speeds the car in the opposite direction.

"Shyla what's going on?" Sabrina asks while putting on her seatbelt. Shyla doesn't say anything she just picks up her phone and makes a call.

"We at Tonya's house." Shyla says into the phone and turns the corner fast.

"Girl slow down!!!"  Leshua yells.

"Yeah." Shyla responds into the phone as she hangs up while ignoring her friends.

Leshua, Tyesha, and Sabrina are looking at each other wondering what is going on when they pull up in front of a two-story brick house.

"Leshua hop in the back." Shyla tells her friend as she gets out the car. Her friends are wondering what's going on but they don't say anything and Leshua gets in the back with Tyesha and Sabrina.

Shyla goes in the house and a few minutes later she comes back out with a girl who is bleeding and wrapped in a blanket. A guy came stumbling out the house yelling obscenities, he was obviously drunk. Shyla put the girl in the recently vacated passanger seat and walks to the driver side of her car and grabs the door handle; then she lets it go and walks back over to the guy and punches him in his face.

The guy and her start fighting and the guy is on the ground while Shyla is kicking him when Tray pulls up. Tray jumps out the car and grabs her. She breaks from his grip and goes back over to the guy. Tray grabs her by the waist and picks her up; he carries her to the car, opens the door and puts her in. Just as he's closing the door the guy stumbles to make his way to the car. As he's approaching the car the guys that came with Tray jumped out the car and grabbed him.

"Shy get out of here," Tray tells her, but Shyla sits there fuming mad.

"Go!!" Tray yells.

Shyla pulls off on her way to the hospital. She picks up her phone and makes a call.

"Meet me at the hospital." She says into the phone. She hangs up the phone and in three minutes they pull up in front of the Hospital. Shyla gets out the car and goes to the passenger side just as a red car pulls up in front of her. The girls from the red car jump out and see the blood on Shyla's clothes and shoes.

"Shy what happened?" The driver of the red car asked.

Shyla never responded, they just take the battered woman in the hospital and when they check her in Shyla tells her she'll be back.

Her and her friends leave the hospital and so far all they know is that the girl's boyfriend or husband beat her up and that info didn't come from anything volunteered by Shyla.

"Shyla what's going on?" Leshua asked once they got in the car.

"If you saw what happened why you keep asking me?" Shyla said irritated.

"Because I want you to tell me." Leshua said with an attitude, but Shyla kept on driving and brushed her friend off.

They get to the house and Shyla orders food. While they're eating Tray walks in and tells Shyla that D wants her.

She knows he's mad if he came to the house, so she walks outside and gets into the truck.  D drives off without saying one word to her. Once they're driving for a while he snaps at her.

"How many times I gotta tell you! You ain't a nigga Shy." D says fuming mad because he keeps telling her she can't go around fighting men. But, Shyla couldn't care less because she ain't scared of no dude and if he jumps she's swinging.

"Yo ass ain't deaf either. You should've pulled off when Tray told you the first time. You don't need anybody to repeat themselves." D continued yelling.

After coming back from her drive with D, Shyla has a headache. She took her medicine and laid down.
