The next day Tray is driving Shyla and her friends around to take them sightseeing when the police flashed there lights signaling for them to pull over.

Shyla looked at Tray and he gave her a look to let her know the truck was clean and she calmed her nerves a little. Tray let down the window and when the officer approached he handed him his license and registration. The officer walked back to his car and when he couldn't find anything on his record he decided to check the car.

"Please step out the vehicle." The lead officer said to Tray as his partner took Shyla and her friends out the truck. They told her friends to sit down on the curb and placed Shyla and Tray on the hood of the car.

"Why you messing with us Williams?" Tray asked the officer.

"Shut up." Officer Williams said as he pushed Tray into the truck.

"Watch yo hands." Shyla said to the other officer who was patting her down between her legs a little too slow.

They handcuffed Shyla and Tray and searched the truck disappointed when they didn't find anything.

"Where is it?" Officer Clark asked Shyla.

"What you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb with me." The officer said as he pushed her head.

"Watch yo hands." Tray said to him and Officer Williams pushed him to the ground. "What you gone do?" the Officer dared him.

"Dang ya'll ain't find nothing cuz ain't nothing there, so let us go." Shyla said.

"Where's D?" Officer Clark asked her.

"Who?" Shyla asked.

"Still playing stupid?" Clark asked her as he slammed her up against the truck.

After getting harassed by the police for a while and getting a warning that they were watching them, they went on their way and when they got to the restaurant Shyla and her friends went in while Tray parked the car. Leshua, Tyesha, and Sabrina went to the table and Shyla went to the restroom.

"What is Shyla doing?" Tyesha asked when they sat down.

"Well at least we know one thing about D," Leshua said.

"Yeah, who would have ever thought that Shyla would be with a dealer?" Sabrina added.

"What would Tyrek say if he knew?" Tyesha wanted to know.

"He'd kill her." Leshua said, knowing what her friends' brother reaction would be.

Tray came to the table and then Shyla came; they ate then they went to go see a couple more things before they went back to Shyla's house. Shyla's friends had already made up their minds to let Tyrek in on his sister's actions once they made it back home.

When they arrived back at Shyla's house her friends went inside and Shyla sat on the stairs outside talking to Tray.

"So what's the plan for next school year?" Tray asked Shyla.

"I don't know I'm thinking about taking a semester off." Shyla told him.

"Naw Shy, you take a semester off and you might not ever go back; look at me." Tray stated while holding his hands out to his sides.

"Tray I'm tired man. These classes are getting harder, I need a break." Shyla told him.

"You don't need a break, you need a degree. You need me to tutor you again cuz I know you got it." He told her.

"Ha! Tutor me! Man half them sessions you weren't tutoring me, you were setting me up for ya boy." Shyla laughed when she thought back to those so called tutoring sessions where D would conveniently drop by.
