"Hello, Baskingtail..." Howlingstar growled at the tom. Baskingtail looked around in awe,

"W-what is this place? Did...did we die Rabbitspring?" Baskingtail asked the white she. Rabbitspring shook her head, avoiding the toms gaze,

"This is NightClan, we can speak like this through sleep or being in an unconscious state of mind, Howlingstar here, has told me of a prophecy, if I kill Stormfeather her kits will die and the prophecy will be stopped, then I have to kill Dawnmuzzle when her kits are born, then I can go home and never kill another cat again." Rabbitspring explained before Baskingtail asked.

"W-What?! Are you insane?!"

Rabbitspring flattened her ears in shame and looked towards the ragged thorns and vines that lay under paw.

"It was either this, never seeing my kits become great warriors, or seeing my whole family die painful deaths and being separated from them for eternity..." Rabbitspring mewed, pressing her eyes closed trying to stop the tears from going to the ground. Baskingtail sighed, and muttered,

"If this is what it's going to take to have a life with you...I'll help you..." Rabbitspring looked up with a shocked expression, that covered her face,

"B-but I have a mate and kits...!"

"I know that...but when will you actually see them again...? I want to have kits of my own... " Baskingtail muttered, as Howlingstar growled,

"Would you two save this for the living world? My life is bad enough as it is." Howlingstar hissed, as the landscape around them faded away. Rabbitspring opened her eyes smelling herbs all around her, realizing that this must be the StormClan medicine den.

"Rabbitspring..." came the voice of Baskingtail. The she hissed getting up and storming out of the den, then to Wispstar's den, wanting to do something to get her mind off of what she was to do in this clan.

Three warriors were sitting at the entrance of the leader's den, only one she spotted as Peakfur, she knew. Rabbitspring pushed through the entrance to the leader's den as Peakfur followed her.

"What is it? Oh, Rabbitspring, why is it your here?" Wispstar asked and sat up with a smile.

"I want to help your clan, put me on a hunting patrol, show me the herbs I can get, or make me go on a border patrol, I just want to do something." Rabbitspring mews to Wispstar.

"You may go on a hunting patrol with Peakfur, Baskingtail, Darkfeather, and Slipsnow, " Wispstar nodded, smiling.

"I'll get Baskingtail, wait at the entrance to camp, Rabbitspring. Slipsnow and Darkfeather should already be there waiting for Lepourdhunter to return from her warrior assessment." Peakfur mewed, nodding to the white warrior.

Rabbitspring nodded, she had no idea who those cats were. But she was grateful to be leaving the clans camp for once. As Rabbitspring sat down near the entrance of camp she saw Baskingtail run up to her,

"There you are, Rabbitspring." He mewed, smiling brightly. Rabbitspring sighed and turned her gaze to the ground, then heard a deep growl from behind her making her look up,

"So your Rabbitspring... the cat everyone has been talking about, and a former queen, leaving her kits behind because of a rouge, and came here to our clan..." The cat Rabbitspring guess was Darkfeather, growled, his eyes as cold as ice.

"I guess that's what it sounds like..." Rabbitspring laughed. 'Oh, he's going to get it...' Rabbitspring thought.

"I bet all you can do is go on a border patrol, and you probably can't even hunt." Darkfeather hissed.

"Calm down Darkfeather, you know we need the help, this is a good chance for Rabbitspring to show us what she can do." The voice of Peakfur mewed calmly coming up to them,

"Wispstar has put us on a hunting patrol, Leapordhunter should be fine coming back to camp." Peakfur then whispered to Rabbitspring, "Darkfeather is just jealous, show him how strong you are, and he'll leave you alone..."

Rabbitspring nodded following the others as Baskingtail followed beside her. Rabbitspring found a place full of bushes, hearing lots of mice and a few small birds. She jumped into a bush and caught two mice, killed both of them and put one to the side.

"Going to keep that mouse for yourself?" Darkfeather growled. Rabbitspring rolled her eyes ignoring the tom, as she found a clear spot to put the mouse down, then hid behind a bush to wait. She could feel the cat's eyes on her, Darkfeather muttered under his breath as if thinking she was crazy. A hawk came down and headed for the mouse, as the hawk landed, she jumped up into the air and clamped her jaws shut grabbing the hawks wing, and brought it to the ground where she then quickly killed it.

"That was amazing! That's one big hawk!" Peakfur mewed, as Darkfeather and Baskingtail stood there in shock.

The cat known as Slipsnow came up to Rabbitspring with a smile, "I hope you get to see your kits again, your a good cat, no matter what Darkfeather thinks."
