The Dare That Ruined My Life

engaged.

I slowly walk in as my father grab my hand leading me to inside of the hall. I bit my lower lip in nervousness. I don't even know the guy I'm going to get engaged to! That sucks.

I take slow steps towards the stage as my dad says something which makes me look up and stuck there for a second.

There was..that guy I was going to get engaged to because from what my said it meaned that. I stared at him for a long time. Not because he was really goodlucking..well he is- but I did that because he was... korean. He had Korean visuals just like me.

My mom was Korean and my dad was American so I just got my mom's looks and My dad's attitude. Fuck that. He smiled at me slowly as I smiled back and stood on his side. His next action shocked me. My dad was bringing the rings when he hold my hand taking it on his and then giving it a soft kiss.

I shut my eyes. No- I only belong to Jacob- no- what the fuck are you thinking Maya? You are getting married! This is the guy you belong to.

“i'm glad to be with you, Maya.” he said as she smiled fake and nodded her head. He giggled at her cuteness as she suddenly asked him a question.

“well, what's your name btw?” she asked making his eyes widen. “so, you're telling me you don't even know my name?” he said as she nodded her head.

“hey, Maya I'm Chris.” he said as she gladly took his hand and they shake it with eachother. The rings come on their way as he take her hand and softly put the ring on her finger as the crowd cheer for them. She take slow breathes as he comes closer to her. She makes him wear his ring and he smiles at her...before kissing her on her left cheek. She widened her eyes standing there with shock.

He smiles as the crowd and even her dad cheers for them. But in the crowd there was...one person..that was really angry..

Jacob pov

I kept waiting for Maya but she never came since that day she's skipping school and I don't have a good feeling about this. I even asked Noah and he doesn't know anything that means something is absolutely wrong. I finally decided to walk to her home cause I can't take it anymore.

I walked in her home as I saw her mansion decorated like it was a wedding going on. My heart sunk at the thought as I quickly ran in and saw the sight that will haunt me forever. The girl...I thought was mine was getting engaged with someone else. I stared at them.

How could she do this with me? How could she just be engaged without even telling me? I stared at them with anger turning into tears in my eyes. I took slow breathes and then I saw the sight that just broke my patience.

He kissed her on the cheek. She's mine! Fuck, everything I want her! They went away from the stage drinking some drinks and something when suddenly I saw Maya walking in the corridor. I quickly covered her mouth as she breathe heavily.
