She slowly walk to the table. She sat there Infront of the guy she's engaged to and the guy that she just kissed the heck out of and is in love with. She take slow breathes. Jacob was just eating his dinner while staring at them.

Chris. He kept smiling at her. He's so clingy and juicy. What is his problem? He kept staring at him as he smiled at Maya alot and she would also look down. Suddenly his eyes went down as he saw...what the fuck? He was putting a hand on her uncovered thigh. He clenched his fists as Maya stare at him. “ah- I'm done guys!” he stood up but before leaving he gave a hateful stare to Chris and a sad stare to Maya.

“and Chris thankyou for the dinner.” Jacob spoke trying to smile as he only stared at Maya who bit her lower lip in nervousness. Chris stood up staring at Jacob. “no, come on! You aren't leaving like this..” Chris said as he sign his worker to bring a card. Jacob stared at it. Chris hand the card to him.

“the wedding card, you have to come November 1st.” he said as Jacob grabbed the card. Almost really tight as he stared at her. Her eyes only showed guilt, pain and heartbreak.

She looked down not wanting to meet his eyes, as her purple hair covered her face. Jacob smiled fake at Chris. “okay, buddy I'll make sure the come..why wouldn't I? It's my best..
Friends marriage.” he said and smiled emphasizing the word. “friend.”

“that's honestly amazing, I enjoyed your company thankyou..Jacob.” Chris said Jacob nodded. “i had a nice time too.” he said as he started walking away from them. Chris took a short breathe before sitting beside Maya. She just keep looking down she don't know what to do. Jacob will come at her wedding too! Oh gosh-

“maya.” he said as she came out of her thoughts looking up at him. “yes?” she asked as he run a hand through his hair before speaking. “um- I know- like this question is kinda illogical but have you ever been in a relationship?” he said as she stare at him weirdly. He bites his lower lip and speaks again.

“no, I mean do you have any kind of experience?” he said as she takes a deep breathe. Can she tell him that she have been through multiple relationships and the guy he just met was her dare love that ruined her life and made her love him truly.

“yes, I've been in many relationships but you...know that was just the past.” she said as he nodded his head quickly. “ofcourse, I understand.” he said as she nodded her head looking away. Why would he ask that? Don't tell me he suspected Jacob.

Maya was laying down on her bed. It's been many days since she haven't talked to anyone. Not even her bestfriend not even the guy she loves just the guy she is getting married to.

Her phone suddenly rang in her pocket as she took it out staring at it. “noah pig.” she will admit it. She missed him. It was normal he was her bestest friend. The guy she spent her whole childhood with. A soft smile appeared on her face and it vanished as soon as she remembered that her bestfriend had grown feeling for her and when she tells him that she got engaged without even letting him know it's gonna be miserable.

She takes a deep breathe before picking up the phone as he speaks through the line. “oh my god- Maya finally!” he shouted as she shut her eyes tight. “where are you Maya? You didn't reply to my messages you skipped school, are you mad at me?” he asked her tons of questions and she stayed silent. “answer me are-” she cutted him off with just one sentence.

“i got engaged.” she said as the line went silent. None of them dared to speak another word. It was shocking for Noah. She just told him that she had fallen for Jacob and then proceeds to get missing then engaged to somebody else. Noah coughs out.

“what did you say exactly?” he asked again as she shut her eyes again before speaking. “i got engaged to someone else, that's not Jacob.” she says as she rolls her eyes.

“why? When?” he asks. He sounds kinda mad and annoyed. Like he had the right to be. His one and only bestfriend and first love just got engaged someone she doesn't love.

“my dad told...me to marry him and I can't say know, that's the only thing he asked me for.” she says as Noah sounds taken aback.

“what?!” he asks. Almost shouts. “what? Why the heck would you say yes to that? You love Jacob! How can you marry someone you don't even know?” he shouts as she takes a deep breathe. “it's okay, besides he's a nice guy.” she says.

“fuck that, Maya.” he says as she stays silent and he speaks again. “i'm telling you first I ruined your life by that stupid dare and now you're ruining your life by yourself.” he says.

“i don't know, Noah my father will never let me marry someone else. He would start crying and I can't see that.” tears fall through her cheeks as she says that. “Maya, the choice is to to you, you can do whatever you want listen to your heart..not your mind for one last time.” he says as she slowly nods her head. she closes her eyes and listen to her own heartbeat.

“what do you hear?” he asks. She went silent she just closes her eyes thinking deeply about it. She really loves Jacob. She had felt that she can't live without him. She played with him. She broke his heart. She doesn't deserve his love. Chris is a nice guy. She can't break her father's heart. But her heart will be broken- ugh! Fuck that!

“noah, I have made my decision.” she says. “what is it?” he asks as she slowly looks down before saying it lowly. “i will...marry chris.” she says as the line went silent. He doesn't know how to speak anymore.
