The Dare That Ruined My Life

I started taking slow steps towards her as she finally looked to to me. I wish I never saw that sight. the tears in her eyes. the pain that I could see. It sucked. It sucked so bad to see tears filled in her beautiful eyes.

“i'm sorry.” she spoke as I raised my eyebrow. Why is she sorry? It isn't her fault! It's his- “i'm sorry you had to see all this drama.” she completed as he looked at her with confusion.

“get up.” i said with calmness. I tried to sound as much as sweet I could. She shook her head in no as I shut my eyes tightly before speaking with a more hard voice.

“I SAID..get up!” I shouted. Not too loud but enough to tell her that i wasn't in a good mood.

She looked to at me again before giving me her hand to stand up. I stared at her as I took her hand pleasingly. She got up as I grab onto her hand tightly as she stared at me.

I started taking her out of the corridor. I knew it wasn't the right time for her to take classes. She suddenly left my hand as I looked at her.

“why are you doing this, Jacob?” she asked as I only stared at her. She was right. Why was I doing it- why? I hate women. I still do but what control does this women have over me? Damn!

“i asked-” I cutted her off as I spoke. “humanity.” she stared at me with a cold glare at her face. She is the only one that has the potential to beat the cold look of my face. She rolled her eyes at me.

“if it's for humanity, I don't want It. Thankyou so much. Gentleman.” she said as she started walking away and I instantly regretted my actions as I call her. “Maya!” I shout.

She keep walking until I finally shout even more louder. “LISTEN TO ME!” she turned to me as I quickly ran towards her. I took a deep breathe as she raised her eyebrow.

“i accept, it's not for humanity it's because.... because I really care for you..” I said as she stared at me. She nodded her head and finally smiled. I know it's only been minutes but I still missed that beautiful smile on her face. I softly give her my hand as she take it and we start walking out.

While we are walking and I suddenly ask her. “why was he angry?” I ask as she stop at her places. Her lips shut.

“it's okay if you don't wanna-” she cutted me off before I could complete my sentence. “because I kissed you.” she said as I widen my eyes.

“wait, why does that matter to him?” I asked. A little hint of disappointment could be seen on my face as she takes a deep breathe before speaking.

“i don't know what happened to him, he was never like this.” she spoke as her eyes went on the floor. He stared at her as he finally spoke after minutes.

“i think....he likes you.” he spoke, almost like a whisper as she bit her lower lip shaking her head in no. “i hope that never happens.” she said as he slowly nodded his head.

“i can walk you to your home if you're not feeling well.” he said as she smiled at him. He was shocked. Her smile was so beautiful. So-

“thankyou.” she spoke and he stood there. Shocked. She just said thank you? He smiled back at her as they started walking back to her home.

“well, I don't know much about you even now, when we have even kissed.” she said as a blush formed on his face and she started laughing.

“are you kidding me? The Jacob Jesson is blushing Infront of me? I can't believe this!” she explained with with giggles in between as he laughed too in response.

Wait. What has happened to me? What have I become? Oh god- wait- don't tell me...

I can't lie to myself anymore. I really...like her. I like Maya betzan. I love her! He said to himself as he stared at her and gulped.

“are you okay?” she asked as he smiled softly while looking down. “you changed me, Maya betzan.” he said as she stared at him in the eyes.

“you changed me.” he spoke again and suddenly his hand went in contact with her cheek softly caressing it. It was her who was nervous. Yea- I should be happy. My dare is going to come to an end. But- why do I feel so bad? He smiled at her as he leaned in and before joining her lips into a beautiful kiss he spoke.

“i like you, Maya.” he said as he kissed her softly. She just stood there with her eyes wide open. I'm I okay? I guess I'm not. She didn't even knew what happened to her as she kiss him back with the same love and passion he showed to her.

Wasn't it too fast? It was the 2nd day and he already confessed. That's shocking. She softly break the kiss as she look up at him. He take her hand in his and speak.

“don't you like me too, Maya?” he said as she stared at him. With nothing but pure guilt. She is gonna break him so bad. She takes a deep breathe trying to smile but she just couldn't put herself to do that. How could she agree on that stupid dare?

Tears started forming in her eyes as she didn't reply anything. She closed her eyes tightly. She didn't want to see him cry. He took a deep breathe.

“i'm sorry, Maya I won't disturb you you made me....feel like you were interested in me.” he said making her eyes soften in guilt. She feels like she is the baddest person. How could she freaking do this?

He grabs her hand again and speaks. “i know, this isn't easy for you but....whenever I look in your eyes I see...love for me ..like the love I have for you.” he said as she bit her lower lip. She didn't knew it could get this worse.
