Maya pov

As the priest announce us both husband and wife a deep sigh comes out from my mouth. I don't love him and I never would not until I know how much I've fallen for Jacob. The priest tells him to kiss the wife. Damn, I knew it was coming.

He takes step closer to me and joins his lips with mine. I kiss him back. I can't show the crowd that I'm sad because of this marriage. This can only cause another scandal for my father. Between the kiss, I could feel the he was kissing me roughly.

Not the kind of way that makes you feel loved. The one that makes you feel you did something absouletly wrong. I froze at my spot as he bit my lower lip between the kiss. It hurts- what the heck is he tryna do? I'm regretting my life decisions suddenly as he pulls away. My eyes go to that one specific person in the crowd I look back at Chris. Shit- he noticed me looking at Jacob.

“oh Jacob came?” he asks with a smile. Finally the old him is back. The way he kissed me minutes ago. It sucked. He moved closer to me.

“yeah, he came thanks to you.” i said trying to sound casual as he flash another smile at me. I was shocked to see jacob. I thought he will leave quickly after that thing we had in the makeup room. Unholy.

“well, you have a good looking friend.” he says and this time it's me who's flashing a smile at him and then he moves dangerously closer to me. I move back as he moves more closer. His lips come close to my ear and I get shivers down my spine. Not because I like him but because..I feel scared.

“welcome to our family, wife you are finally marked as mine.”

He said. He says those words in my ear and give a small peck at it before moving away and walking to his friends. I stuck there. I stared at him. Well, being romantic to your wife is not strange but- but- still I feel disgusted with what he just did.

I slowly walk down from the stage and my eyes caught another familiar figure as I smile softly. That was Noah Cyrus. I'm pretty sure dad invited him cause he loves him so much.

I walk towards him as soon as he sees me he smiles at me. That smile. That wasn't of like ‘congrats.’ it was a pity smile. Like he felt miserable for me.

I hug him tightly as he hug me back. “i missed you so much, pig.” I say as he laughs out. The old Noah is back. Finally.

I break the hug as he smiles. “i cant believe that the girl who used to walk around the house with a diaper on just got married.” he says as she hits his arm playfully.

“but seriously you got married really fast, maya.” he says as awkwardness suddenly fills the atmosphere. No- she wants that feeling back. The feeling of them being the bestfriends ever. Not the feeling of a one sided lover who feels bad for her. Hell nah-

“congrats, maya.” he says as she smiles. “thankyou, do you want to meet Chris? He's right there!” she says as he nods his slowly and walk towards the direction she pointed at.

They walk towards Chris who is standing with his friends when he sees Maya he smiles. “oh? Who is he?” he asks as Maya smiles. “he is my bestfriend, like truly the bestest friend.” she says but notices the expression's of Chris changing. When she said the word “friend.”

Chris smiles while looking at the ground. Not a kind looking smile it was...an evil smile. She raises her eyebrow. Chris takes out his hand Infront of Noah as he gladly accepts it.

“hello, her friend.” he says. It was weird. It was strange. She felt a change of behavior from Chris. Noah giggled. “well, her friend has a name, Noah cyrus.” he says as Chris makes a 0 with his face. “nice to meet you, Noah.” he says and they both smile eat eachother..

“she's your wife now. You better keep her happy man! Her friend is really good in boxing too.” he says as everyone giggles including Maya.

“ahaha, yeah yeah sure.” Chris says. “okay, then I'll leave Maya. Congrats to both of you!” Noah says as he hugs Maya and then Chris.

Maya walks in..Chris's room. Well their room now. She slowly massages her head. It was tiring. It was hurtful. It wasn't how she imagined her wedding. She slowly removes her jewelry she walks to the bathroom to remove her makeup and comes out. She changed into a more comfortable outfit. She comes out and gets startled as she sees Chris sitting on his...(their) bed.

“oh, woah. I'm sorry I scared you?” he says as she shakes her head in no. “no it's okay.” she says and was about to walk to get her moisturizer but he says something that makes her shocked.

“or perhaps you were expecting to see someone else?”

He says and she got stuck there. She stops at her place. It felt like her soul just left her body he smiles. That evil one again.

“chris?” she says and then looks away. “what are you saying? I wasn't expecting to see someone else.” she says and he nods her head and giggles.

“i'm sorry I was just joking around.” he says and she lets out a relief sigh and walks to the table. She open her moisturizer and stares at the mirror. She was checking out herself when she notices Chris coming closer to her as he hug her from the back. She shuts her eyes tight as he slowly gives a kiss on her neck. She knew it- it was coming. She doesn't want this--

He looked up in the mirror and saw his uncomfortable expression. He smiles lowly. He moves away from her as he takes out his phone staring at something and then he comes back to her. He kissed her collarbone as she looks away. Please no-

Before she could do anything he says something that makes her shocked. He was moving at the top of her as he speaks.
