"Never truly free?"
"That's what it says." Brutus jumps down from the ledge, down to the temple's floor.
Dolos looks back up at the scratched text on the wall Brutus read from. He focuses on it for a bit.
He's interrupted by Brutus yelling for him to catch up. He takes one last glance at the wall before running down the hall.
They exit onto a large balcony, with stairs leading up to the peak of the mountain, where they hope to find the fanatical Light Priests.
As they reach the summit, they see the three Light Priests, praying to the west, the direction of the Traveler. They were men, extremely deformed, unnaturally pale, and were what some called insane.
Dolos and Brutus stand before them.
"Light Priests! I am Dolos."
When they hear this name, they all turn around to face him.
"Dolos....the deselected.."
"I'm not here for me. She needs help, and you sent assassins after us in return. Why?!"
The Light Priests float towards them, Pure Light flowing around them freely.
"Because you are not worthy of the Light. And neither is she."
The Light Priests take off their gloves, summoning large swords of Light.
Dolos and Brutus charge back.
Through the smoke we tread.
The words echo in Gate's mind, and he doesn't know why.
He stares blankly at the hologram depicting Planet Earth. He's stood there for hours, waiting for any kind of Darkness related abnormalities to appear. He was looking for Frederick. He had escaped, or was freed. It had to mean something. No one could have escape that kind of prison. Delilah couldn't..
He jumps slightly, feeling the cold gloved hand of Camille touch his shoulder.
"Are you okay Gate?" She asks him from behind.
He turns around to her, and her...tempting figure. He hated the way he felt.
I am stronger.
"No. A maniacal Titan is on the loose, and nobody knows where to find him." Gate turns back to the globe hologram.
"Well....I, uh..we have something to show you."
Echo appears from behind Camille, holding a tablet. He hesitates to show it to Gate.
"Well?" Gate has no time for hesitation. From any source.
Echo shows him the image.
"Praeditus...the planet left behind by Rhamnousia? It's covered in Egregore Gate." Echo quietly explains.
"What the hell... what the hell!" Gate paces around the room.
He glares at them.
"What the hell is going on?! All at once?"
Gate paces around the room faster.
"If it's connected to Frederick, then let Camille and I take the Legion and her Union out to the planet." Echo suggests, making sure not to further anger Gate.
"Perhaps it could be contained? Destroyed?" Camille asks.
"Where is Dolos?" Gate walks over the window and looks at the Traveler. "We need him right now."
Echo and Camille look at eachother, then back at Gate.
"Let me go after Frederick, you two head over to Praeditus, and check it out."
