Gate-4 stands on a cliff, looking over a cold ocean. He feels the wind on his face, and a cold breeze pass through. However, he doesn't waste anymore time, he puts on his helmet and throws his hood on.
He was in New Singapore, the city. It was actually quite active these days. After the Whisper War, various cities began to rebuild, making the Last City, well, not the last. Singapore was one of the key "new" cities, but had a weak economy, where crime ruled.
After a few hours hike, Gate made his way into the City's entrance, where he was able to enter a pit of scum and villainy, worse than some of the Last City's darkest districts.
As I walk through these streets, I witness the lowest of humanity. I see multiple groups of gangs, people dead in alleys, suited men with their own slaves. Despicable, that's what it is.
He enters a small saloon in the corner of the southern district. It was quiet, not too crowded.
He gains a few stares as he walks up to the bar.
"What can I get you." An Exo bartender approached him,
"Information."
The bartender leaned in, looking around to be sure no one was watching. Two men were, behind them.
"Are you a Guardian?" The bartender whispered.
"That's not for me to say. I want to know if a Guardian named Frederick came to this city."
The bartender look behind Gate's shoulder quickly.
One of the two dark clothed men raised a huge knife and thrust down towards Gate. Gate grabbed his arm, broke it easily, then grabbed and threw his head into the bar which left a nasty mark.
Gate quickly pulls out Ace of Spades on the other, who ran away. Gate turns around to face the bartender, but he too was attempting to run away out the back. Gate runs after him.
It didn't take long for Gate to catch up to the bartender. He grabbed him and pinned him against a wall, throwing punches into his gut and face.
"Talk. Now."
"I'm not telling you nothing!"
"You will..."
Gate throws the bartender to the ground. He pulls out one of his knives and lights it on fire until it was glowing hot.
"Nononono..." The bartender tries to get up, but Gate grabs him by the neck, and began to slowly hold the knife towards his neck.
"Talk!" Gate growls, pushing the knife further, which drew blood, practically boiling it.
"I can't tell you! I'll die!"
Gate gets in his face.
"You'll die if you don't."
"He said his name was Frederick. He's insane, out of his mind."
"Where is he?"
The bartender pointed up, to a skyscraper glowing blue.
"In there. With Lady Calder....dammit...she'll kill me for even saying her name..."
Gate looks at him.
"There's a ship northwest of the city on the coast, on a cliff. Go there and wait for me. I'll take you somewhere safe."
The bartender grabbed Gate by the neck with both his hands.
"God bless you." He ran out of the alley.
Gate watches him leave, then begins stomping towards the blue skyscraper.
On the top floor, multiple masked men with suits sit around a table, waiting for their leader and her special guest.
The room was covered in dark blue lights, and with white carpets everywhere, and glass tables and even leather furniture.
They were a group called Enigma, and practically ran New Singapore themselves.
Lady Calder pushes the double doors open. She wore similar clothing, but her mask bore large magnificent horns, taken from an old mystical creature and cast in steel.
When she walked in, everyone stood up.
"Please, sit. We have a new opportunity." Lady Calder clapped twice.
Two large armored soldiers carried in a man in rags. He was infinitely pale, scarred all over his body. With a very long beard and hair. His name was Frederick.
The men at the table remained silent.
Lady Calder kneels down to Frederick, who was on his knees.
"How do you feel, Frederick?"
Frederick looks up at Calder, his eyes darkened to an unnatural level.
"I need to leave..."
"I don't think that's going to happen Frederick."
"Please...you don't understand."
Calder ignores him and turns back to the table.
"This...pathetic man....is a Titan. Do you know what we can do with him? Torture him into submission, train him, brainwash him..until we are the only thing he can think about. When he is ours."
As Calder continues, Frederick looks at the corner of the room, where dark smoke begins to form. His eyes fill with fear.
The Witness appears, it's presence blinding everyone.
"What the hell are you?!" Calder yells at it.
The Witness stares at her.
"Let free the man in rags."
"He is mine. How dare you comma-"
Calder falls over in complete pain, her veins filling with black.
The two armored soldiers get up to run after the Witness, but Frederick grabs then by their leg, and begins to fire Arc Energy into them, electrocuting them to death.
The masked men at the table all get up to run away, but all of them are picked up by the Witness and clumped together forcefully with a deep crunch, killing all of them.
Calder falls over, her skin blackened and decaying rapidly.
Frederick leans down next to her, tearing her mask off.
"How do you feel?" He asks her. The Witness floats behind him.
"Please......" Calder holds real fear in her eyes.
Frederick grabs her by the neck.
