Camille looks through binoculars at the Last City. It had been almost entirely taken over by the Egregore. it...surprised her, the swiftness of the attack.

If only the Traveler would do something about it.

She looks over at Lynch, who was messing with his modded Hand Cannon. She admired his new armor.

"I've really missed you, you know?" She speaks to him.

Lynch looks up at her.

"I know." He stands up and approaches her.

"We haven't been this close sense..."

"Can I see your face..please?" He whispers.

Camille carefully nods, allowing Lynch to take off her helmet. He admires her face.

"What happened to us?"

"I...left..."

"Why? I waited for you for so long..."

"I needed to change."

Camille steps back from Lynch, looking away from him.

"Please...leave me be for now." She says softly.

Lynch, despite is constant persona of pride and disrespect, leaves her alone. He walks around the cliffs for awhile, before nestling on a hill, providing a nice view of the Egregore infested City.

However, the Witness appeared behind him.

Lynch jumps up and aims his hand cannon at the Witness.

"I don't want to do it anymore!"

"You will.."

"You said I would become greater! Why do I suffer?!"

"It is because you hate. You hate them."

"What do you know? You hate everything having to do with the Light! You're the Witness for God sake!"

"We do not hate. Do you know what hate leads to?"

Lynch falls down on his knees infront of the Witness.

"I love her..."

"Do not convince us that you are no longer of use."

"Maybe I should."

The Witness moves down to his level.

"Salvation awaits you, Lynch. You only must let suffering move through you."

The Witness was gone again.

The Leviathan had been floating in space for a long time now. The Royalists had mutinied Calus during the Andromeda Event, but he found his way back to his home, and the Royalists were gone when he came back.

Echo told Dolos and Brutus of this time on their way there.

Dolos and Brutus listened too. Everyone was in need of a good story.

As they approached the Leviathan, they saw its age and worn out state. It had barely scratched the surface of its once glorious figure.

Echo lands their ship at the Leviathan's entrance. They all step out. They were ready for a fight. They showed it too, holding large guns.

"Calus?!" Echo yells out, expecting the Emperor to respond in his frustrating, yet perfect tone. He didn't.

"Does he usually talk a lot?" Dolos asks.

"Yes." Echo sighs, remembering the many times he's been here.

Echo pulls out binoculars and scopes in around the ship. Rust lied everywhere, many holes throughout, and fire still burning.
