Sighs. Rainy days. The best type of weather; Pezzy thinks. He loves the rain. The smell of it. The feel of it. The temperature and how it makes the city feel. Just everything. Pezzy LOVES rain. When he was younger he loved to go out in the rain and just play in it; sure it got him sicker than hell, but it was fun. And that way he didn't have to go to school the next day. That was the best. When Pezzy found out that Grizzy and Droid aren't that big fans of the rain, it made him a little bit bummed out, as this was the best type of weather you could get in Texas. No hot weather. No snow. No tornado watches. No heat wave. Just the perfect weather for Pezzy.

Since Pezzy doesn't have anything to do, no streams, no uploads, he decided he was going to watch the rain pour down in front of his driveway. He was sitting in the windowsill just watching the rain pour down, like it was the most interesting thing he had ever seen in his whole life. Man, he's 26 years old, and he's still excited over rain. Man, if any of his school bullies can see him now. "Pezzy, are you just watching the rain?" Grizzy asked as he walked down from the stairs, in a big hoodie, and an empty soju bottle in hand.

"Uh huh. It's so pretty don't ya think?" Pezzy asked as he continued to watch the rain pour down and hit the pavement, and he just smiled at that.

"Yeah, not really," Grizzy replied. Pezzy just stared at him, and rolled his eyes.

"You're missing out, Grizz." Pezzy told him and Grizzy responded with a shake of his head.

"I don't think so. I'm just gonna get myself a pizza, and watch One Piece all day, if you don't mind." Grizzy said in a grumpy tone. Pezzy just nodded and just chuckled.

"You do that." Pezzy laughed, as he turned back to the window.

-

It's been a few hours since Pezzy popped a squat on this windowsill just watching the rain pour down. Before you ask, yes, Pezzy has been taking breaks to eat and hydrate himself, after that incident a couple weeks ago, Grizzy, Puffer, and Droid begged him not to get like that ever again and he's been sticking to that promise.

Pezzy had his head pressed against the cool glass of the window, as he sipped on his Orange Fanta, as he continued to watch the rain just continue to pour down. But as he continued to look at the sky, he saw what looked like... a rainbow. His eyes then sparkled and widened at the sight of it. Seeing a rainbow was one of the best parts about rain. There's something about it... Pezzy can't really explain it.

Droid walked down the stairs still seeing the shorter male in the windowsill and he just chuckled. "Are you ever gonna leave that spot, or are we gonna have to drag you away when the rain stops?" he joked. Pezzy turned to face him with a bright smile on his face.

"Droid! Droid! There's a rainbow outside!" Pezzy exclaimed, as he stood up from his spot and went to put his shoes on.

What is he doing? Droid asked himself. "Uh, yeah, you know you can just see those inside right?" Droid asked him as he was worried about Pezzy going outside and getting sick.

"Yeah! But seeing it from the outside is better!" Pezzy exclaimed as he grabbed onto Droid's arms and began to pull him outside, no matter how much Droid tried to stop him, Pezzy was really adamant about this.

So now Pezzy and Droid were outside in the rain, immediately getting soaked. Welp they're gonna be sick for sure. Droid stood close to the door just watching Pezzy, as he saw him just holding his arms out letting himself be soaked by the rain, and he could hear his small laugh, and that got Droid smiling a little bit. Pezzy looked up to the rainbow and saw all the pretty colors, and he smiled softly. "Droid doesn't it look pretty?" He asked his friend who was too busy staring at him, to even answer his question.

"Yeah, it's so pretty." Droid commented, but he wasn't even looking at the damn rainbow, he was talking about the cute 5'9 male in front of him, being so excited over colors. Droid smiled at his friend, as he saw that he was happy just seeing colors in the sky. He knew his best friend liked rain but he didn't know it was that much. Pezzy turned to face him, and Droid felt like time stopped for a split second, and it was like in slow motion when Pezzy turned to face him, and his smile bounced around his lips.

Droid walked over to Pezzy, who continued to have the biggest smile on his face. "You're soaked." Droid commented, even though he was soaked himself. Pezzy chuckled softly.

"Says you." Pezzy told him with a small smile, and a slight little shiver.

"See? This is what happens when you go out in the rain, you get cold." Droid told him, as he ruffled Pezzy's wet hair, and Pezzy laughed in response.

"We're so going to get sick after this." Pezzy laughed, and Droid nodded.

Droid looked at Pezzy, who had rain drops sliding down his face, making him look like he was crying, and he didn't like that sight. Droid took his thumbs and wiped the rain drops off Pezzy's face, to make it look like he's not crying anymore.

Taking a deep breath, Pezzy now went from happy to flustered. He wanted to try something, but he didn't know how to ask or do it. "Droid..." Pezzy whispered.

"Yeah?" Droid asked.

"I -- Can -- can I try something?" Pezzy asked and Droid was confused on what Pezzy was meaning.

"Uh, sure." Droid responded with a soft laugh.

Pezzy sighed softly, and he leaned on his tip toes, and softly pressed his lips against Droid's. Droid was shocked at first. IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING? Droid asked himself. He really didn't know what to do or how to react. Droid was too stunned. Before he got the chance to kiss Pezzy back, Pezzy pulled back, and he had the saddest look on his face.

"Right. You don't like me like that. Sorry, for crossing a boundary with you." Pezzy apologized, as he felt real tears welling up in his eyes.

"Pezz-" Droid began to talk but Pezzy cut him off.

"No. No. It's okay. It's just silly ol me, thinking that you like me back, but I've never been that lucky with love, and this is another situation of it. Let's just-- forget this happened okay?"

"Pezzy--"

"No! Droid, it's okay. I'm serious. Let's just pretend this didn't happen." Pezzy smiled, before he walked back into the house, dripping from the rain, and feeling actual tears starting to roll down his face, mixing with the rain droplets.

So much for the happy rainbow.

Droid was just in shock. What the hell just happened. He was going to say he liked Pezzy back, but he didn't get a chance. And he probably never will. "Great. That's just great." Droid whispered, as he wiped away a falling tear, before making his way back inside the house, wanting to change out of these soaking wet clothes, to change into new ones.

Why does everything always go wrong?
