The drive back home was silent. But it was a good silence. They really didn't mind the silence, being with each other was enough. Holding Droid's hand during the whole drive back, drunken smile on his face, happiness in his heart, finally feeling what love truly feels like. This is the moment. This is it. Feeling Droid's thumb brush up and down his hand, Pezzy was feeling elated by it all, he totally forgot that he's drunk -- well maybe drunk in love. As cheesy as it sounds. He's in love. And that's okay.

Droid looked over at him with a small smile on his face, and Pezzy stared at him with the same big smile, to which Droid looked back to the road with a red face. Pezzy giggled at that, and looked out the window, watching the sun starting to set, the pink and blue hues painting the sky, to remind him that it was the end of a good day -- well not exactly a good day, a good ending to a terrible day.

-

Pezzy walked followed Droid into his room, closing the door, with a sigh, as he pressed his back against the door. He smiled softly, as watched Droid place his car keys on the top of his dresser. God, what would he do without him right now? A few hours ago, he was screaming in Droid's face, about a stupid kiss, that he thought Droid didn't like, now here they are... happy... happy with each other.

But, here was something that Pezzy didn't even think about? How in the hell were they going to tell Grizzy? Or Puffer? Or... or... or chat? Chat knows they like to make jokes about them being boyfriends, but now that they are for real, how will they actually take it? That's something that Pezzy was afraid of. What if chat will turn against him and actually be disgusted that he's with Droid... god he couldn't handle that.

But, they'll just have to figure that out when that boat comes, for right now Pezzy is going to enjoy this happy moment. While it still lasts. "Hey." Droid called him, and that brought Pezzy out of his daydreaming thoughts.

"Yeah?" he asked.

"Did you eat before you decided to drink your feelings away?" Droid joked. Pezzy smiled sheepishly, before looking down at the floor. How was he supposed to tell Droid that he didn't eat anything before he went to that bar?

"Uh... no." Pezzy answered. Droid rolled his eyes, and smacked him on the shoulder.

"Stupid." Droid grumbled, but he smiled after it. That smile caused Pezzy to smile. "I'm gonna order some Dominos, and you mister, are gonna be eating it." Droid said, and began to tickle at Pezzy's sides, which caused Pezzy to giggle, and run around Droid's room to get away from him. That caused Droid to run after him as well, and Droid pushed Pezzy down on the bed, and just leaned over him.

Pezzy stared at him with a small smile on his face, wondering what Droid was going to do, before Droid just rubbed his nose against his, giving him an eskimo kiss. Pezzy giggled, and pushed Droid back. "Go order the pizza, you goof." Droid laughed and walked out of the room.

Pezzy smiled brightly, as he fell back on the bed, and stared up at the ceiling, in euphoric bliss. This is the moment. This is it.

-

After finishing eating their pizza, Droid and Pezzy decided to just lay down on the bed, snuggled up together. Pezzy was laying on Droid's chest, while Droid had his arm wrapped around him. Pezzy was busy fiddling with Droid's fingers, as they laid in silence... well until Droid spoke up. "You know why I was so worried for you when I couldn't find you today?" Droid asked Pezzy.

"Why?"

"Because, I was thinking it was another situation where you took my car when you said you were going to get Whataburger, or... or... another situation with the crash." Droid told him. This was the first time that Droid was opening up about this fear of his. Ever since Pezzy got into that accident Droid has been worried that Pezzy was going to go off the deep end and hurt himself worse than what he tried to do.

Pezzy looked up at him with this worried look on his face. "How worried were you?" Pezzy asked him.

"Really worried. Like level one thousand of worried." Droid answered.

Gulping down his tears, Pezzy asked him. "Do... do I wanna ask why you were worried?" Pezzy asked Droid and Droid sighed softly as he tried not to cry himself.

"Because... I thought I was going to lose you. And that just scares me. I don't want to lose you." Droid said and Pezzy felt his heart drop. What... what did I do? Pezzy asked himself. God he really didn't think about how the stupid actions he did would hurt people. He really didn't think.

"I'm sorry, Droid. I-- I really didn't think about what I did would hurt people. God, I'm such an asshole." Pezzy said, as he hid his face in Droid's chest, to let out a few tears, so Droid didn't have to see them.

"No, Pezzy, it's okay. Don't cry." Droid said, as he gently trailed his fingers up and down Pezzy's spine, as a way to comfort him, and a way to tell him that everything was going to be okay. "When I first saw the crash, I honestly thought you were going to be in that ambulance, until I saw you standing there completely fine, despite the cuts and bruises. That's when I realized that I didn't want to lose you." Droid told him, as he placed his fingers under Pezzy's chin, and raised it so he could have Pezzy look at him. "Look at me." Droid wiped away Pezzy's tears, and smiled softly. "You mean more to me than you think. Okay? You've helped me through my own issues, without even having to do anything. You just being here is more than enough."

Pezzy smiled softly. "You mean that?"

Droid snickered, looking at Pezzy like he was an idiot. "Of course, dummy. Why would I lie about that?"

Pezzy laughed, and just didn't answer. He laid his head back down on Droid's chest, and listening to his heartbeat was enough to have Pezzy drift off to sleep, leaving Droid to stare at his sleeping figure. Droid, sighed softly, as he wiped away tears that were about to fall from his eyes. He couldn't tell Pezzy his own issues... god he wasn't ready to put that burden on Pezzy just yet, not when they just got together.

But that's okay.

Pezzy knowing that he's helped Droid is enough for right now.

It will always be enough.
