It is now the next morning, the day after the crash, and Pezzy feels... numb. (And sore but mostly numb). His bruised and battered eyes opened, to where he just stared at a wall. That's all he could really do was just stare. God, he didn't get that much sleep, every time he closed his eyes, he heard that kid's crying voice yelling "Mommy! Mommy! It hurts!" even though the poor kid's mother was obviously dead and never coming back. He squeezed his eyes shut, as he continued to remember what happened last night. He's never going to be the same after what happened last night.
Droid saw Pezzy still in bed, and he sighed softly. He knew he was awake, with just his eyes closed, he really didn't know how he knew, he just knew. Droid walked over to Pezzy and he crouched down in front of him. Droid saw the line of tears running down Pezzy's face, and he frowned softly. Nobody should have to be going through this. Nobody.
Droid wiped away Pezzy's tears, and he sighed. Pezzy sniffled and finally opened his eyes. "I'm sorry." Pezzy apologized and Droid just shook his head.
"You're fine. Don't apologize." Droid reassured him. Pezzy shouldn't have to apologize for crying. There's nothing to be sorry about. Droid would be more worried if Pezzy wasn't showing any emotions right at this moment (even though he knows people handle trauma differently).
"I should get back to editing my video. I got a video going up in three days. I also gotta stream today." Pezzy said, as he threw the blanket off of him. Droid widened his eyes. Should he really be getting back to work right now after what just happened last night?
"You know, you could take a couple days off, to rest and get things back to normal." Droid suggested, as he stood up to move out of the way, as Pezzy was sitting up from the bed. Pezzy winced at every subtle move he made. He'll just take some ibuprofen for the soreness and put some light dabble of makeup on the cuts and bruises on his face, and it'll make him look like nothing ever happened.
"I'll be fine, Droid." Pezzy said as he stood up from the bed, Droid's shirt, oversized on him, just falling off his narrow shoulders.
"You sure?" Droid asked and Pezzy nodded. Pezzy's not sure.
"Yep. I'll be fine." Pezzy told him, and he walked out of the bedroom. Pezzy's not going to be fine.

It was now in the middle of the day, Pezzy was in his bathroom, he had taken Droid's shirt off, so now he was staring at his shirtless frame in the mirror. He did some editing on his video today, it was honestly pretty freaking mediocre editing, but he tried to make it seem like his other videos. He tried. He hopes that his editor can fix his fuck ups, and make the video better than what the shit he made. He also had to stream in thirty minutes as he had a session with Puffer, Matt, Smii7y, Grizzy, and Droid. They were playing more Mario Kart which should be fun. Hopefully.
Pezzy just felt a wave of deja vu wash over him, as he stared at himself in the mirror. This is the same scene from the last time he played Mario Kart... which happened to be in Pennsylvania and that was the day Droid asked him to move in with him, that just happened to be almost two months ago. Pezzy stared at the cuts and bruises lacing his face, and he felt tears roll down his face. God, he looked terrible. Broken. Torn apart. Nothing. Life really crashed into him, and is now burning him like a trainwreck.
Life did a hell of a whole lot more than tear him apart. It cut him up, rolled over him, chewed him up, spit him out, and left him to rot on the concrete. Life really left him there. To rot. To rot alone. To die. To die alone.
