The next day
Callahan woke up and got ready to leave. He went down and saw Finlay and Aiden eating. They looked at him.
"You are all ready and set!" Finlay said, looking at him.
"Where are you going!?" Aiden asked.
"How do I look!?" he asked them.
"Where are you going, Cal!?" Aiden asked, again. Aiden has always been the uptight type.
"Nowhere!" Callahan said as he sat down next to Finlay.
"Callahan!" Aiden sternly said. Callahan sighed as he looked away from him.
"Fine!" he said, looking at him. "I asked Bellatrix if she would go out with you, she agreed!"
"Oh my god!" Finlay exclaimed.
"Like a date!?" Aiden asked.
"No! No! She made it very clear! As friends! We are just gonna spend some time together! Get to know each other!" he explained. Aiden cocked an eyebrow.
"Oh come on, Den! We are just friends!" he said."You know that! She knows that! We know that! But people see you out with her...they are gonna take that differently!" Aiden told. Callahan hadn't thought about that.
"It's not only gonna bring unwanted attention to you...but to her too! We are used to attention, Cal! She won't be with that type of attention she would get! And you know how social media can twist things up!"
Callahan kept quiet for a moment."I'll be fine! I'll make sure she's fine!" Callahan tried to convince Aiden.
"Cal..." Aiden began when Finlay stopped him.
"Aiden! Let him go! It's okay!" he said. Aiden looked at him, confused. "He is grown enough to know how to handle things! He'll be fine!"
He stood up and turned to Callahan.
"Even though it's not a date, don't screw this up!" he said, smiling. Callahan smiled."I won't!" he said. He hugged Finlay. "Thank you!"
"Now get out before Den changes his mind!" Finlay whispered.
"I'll see you later!" Callahan said as he took his hoodie and goggles and walked towards the coffee shop where she had told she would meet him.
While this was Callahan's side of story, Bellatrix was still on bed, sleeping. She had completely forgotten about meeting Callahan and had slept in, when finally her mother walked into her room and opened the curtains."Mum!" she said sleepily, disturbed by the sunlight.
"Good morning, darling!" her mother said.
"It's a holiday today...do I have to get up!?" she asked, as she got into the blanket.
"I thought you had to meet a friend!" her mother said.
"What!?" she asked, removing the blanket off her face. Her mother cocked an eyebrow.
"Shit!" she muttered to herself.
"What's the time!?" she asked, looking at her phone. She saw it was already 10:40.
"Why did I agree to go out with him!?" she said with a sigh."That's good! I'm happy he asked and I'm happier that you agreed!" her mother said, smiling.
"I'll kill him when I see him!" she said, getting up and walking up to her mother.
"Sure you will!" her mother said as she hugged her. She stayed in her mother's arms for a while before she pulled away.
"I should get ready now!" she said. Her mother nodded with a smile. Bellatrix hurriedly got ready and was finally ready to leave.
"Call or text me when you reach, okay!?" her mother said, before she left.
"Yeah! Will do!" she said, as she left and hurriedly walked towards the coffee shop. While Bellatrix was still on the way to the shop, Callahan was already there and got a table in one corner of the shop. He was thinking about what Aiden had said. He knew Aiden had a point. But he wanted to spend more time with her. He waited for sometime but she never came. He was going through his phone. He looked around if she came, she didn't. He was beginning to think she wouldn't come.
