On Sunday. Trent's Birthday party

"Happy birthday man!" Liam wished Trent.

"Thanks man! And thanks again for coming! Didn't expect you'd really come!" Trent said.

"Anything for my bro!" Liam said as they both embraces each other in a hug.

"Enjoy the party!" Trent said as he pulled away from the hug. "Excuse me, I'll be right back!"
Trent grabbed a crate of beer, some chips and walked up to his room. The band had come in earlier this year. They would usually come after his party ended. He opened the door slowly and carefully, making sure no one saw the famous musicians inside.

"Ahh! Finally! I needed something to drink or eat!" Finlay said, standing up.

"You know it's hard to keep you guys inside!" Trent said, keeping the crate down.

"Oh come on! How hard is it to hide three guys!?" Callahan said picking up a bottle.

"Then come on down, Cal! I'm sure others will be happy to see you!" Trent shot at him.
Soft laughter spread across the room. Trent sat with them for sometime, chit-chatting, while Bellatrix had now entered the party.
She had just entered the house and began searching for Trent, when a very familiar voice called out to her. She turned towards the voice. She couldn't quite make it out with all the music, but she met the face, a smile spread across her face.

"Liam!" she gaped, as she hugged towards him.

"Bella!" he said as he embraced in a full, warm hug. "Damn, it's been long since I saw you!"

"It's been like....5-6 months, Li! That's it!" she giggled.

"That is long, my dear B!" he said, still embracing her.
Liam and Bella had been in the same school before she moved to Jasmine Hills.

"What are you doing here!?" she asked, pulling away from the hug.

"It's Trent's birthday! How would I miss it!?" he smiled at her as she did.

"It's so good to see you. Li!" she said. But suddenly the looks on her face changed. She looked at him. "But wait...if you are here, then..."

"Bellatrix Morgan." she heard, a masculine voice from behind her. She took a deep breathe.

"I'll see you later, Li!" she softly said and tried to walk away, but was pulled back by the person behind her.

"Really, B!? You can talk to him and not me!?" he scowled at her as he gripped her tighter. She looked at him furiously. "Now there is the Bella I know!"

"He was not the one who cheated on me with my best friend!" she snapped.
It was none other than Bradford, her ex-boyfriend.

"Brad! Let go man!" Liam tried to tell Brad. Brad and Liam were friends.

"Don't poke your nose in between, Li!" Brad said nastily. Bella took this a time to get herself free from Brad's grip. By now, the attention of the room had turned to them.

"I have nothing to do with you!" she told Brad. "Enjoy the party!"
She tried to walk away, but Brad pulled her again towards him. She was ready this time and punched him in the abdomen, with enough force for him to land on one knee. A lowkey 'ooh' spread across the room.
"I have nothing to do with you!"

"You haven't changed at all, have you!?" Brad said, standing back up.

"Your presence or absence in my life, doesn't change who I am!" she shot up him.

"B, let's go..." Liam said softly, from behind her.

"Oh! You are with her now!?" Brad snapped at Liam.
