Chapter 13: Extra sugar

The next day

Kennedy's had put a charity event to collect money for the town's orphanage. Games had been set up for people of all age. But a separate section of games, set up the the orphans, which was free. The event was packed with people. Bellatrix Had been the whole day, helping out with the events. It was almost midday and she sat down near the juice shop, which was set up.

"One watermelon, please! Extra sugar!" she said.

"Of course!" the lady replied.

"Taking a break, Bella!?" Mr. Kennedy asked her.

"Mr. Kennedy! Hey, hi..." she said standing up. "No...I just.."

"It's okay, dear! I was just pulling your leg!" he joked. She let out a sigh. "You've been helping me from morning! It's okay if you want a break!"

"Thank you, Mr. Kennedy!" she said.

"Where's you mother, dear!?" Mrs. Kennedy asked.

"She'll come, Mrs. Kennedy! She had some work...but she'll come!" she told.

"Great! Take a break, dear!" Mrs. Kennedy told.

"Thank you!" she thanked.

"One watermelon, extra sugar!" the lady at the shop said.

"Thank you!" Bellatrix said. Bellatrix took her juice and was searching for a place to sit, enjoy her juice, when she heard Mrs. Kennedy call out to her.

"Dear, you can sit in the tent house!" she said.

"Oh...no it's okay..I'm sure..." Bellatrix began. The tent house was for the organizers and the special guests.

"Dear...it's just us in there!" she told.

"But the guests? I thought..." Bellatrix was telling.

"You already know them, dear! It's okay, go inside! You've helped a lot!" she patted her back. Bellatrix smiled and slowly walked towards the tent house. She peaked in to see who the guests were for the evening. She saw three boys turned towards her.

"You!" she smiled. She walked in happily because she knew them. It was none other than 'The Necessarily Bad'. Aiden and Finlay sat on one side of a table while Callahan sat on the other.
"You guys are the guests for the evening's show!?" she asked as she sat next to Callahan.

"It's good to see you too!" Finlay said with a smile. Bellatrix chuckled.

"It's good to see you!" she smiled.

"What are you doing here!?" Callahan asked.

"You know Mr. Kennedy is the main organizer, right!?" she asked as she sipped her juice.

"Yeah...so!?" he asked. She cocked an eyebrow.   "Oh... right, you work there!"

"Yeah!" she nodded. "Why you sitting inside...why..."

"Kennedy kept us in! He thought it would be better if they got a pretty good collection before we steal the spotlight!" Finlay explained.

"He does have a point, you know!" she said.

"Of course!" Finlay said proudly as he set his hair properly.

"Ha ha right! Shut up!" Callahan chuckled. He turned to Bellatrix. "So..."

"So!?" she asked him.

"Uh...how's school!?"he asked, not knowing what else to ask. She smiled looking at him.

"It's..." she nodded. "...I'm drifting!"

"Why!?" he smiled. She always had a way of making him smile everytime she was around him.
