BARBARA POV

"The fourth one was in Poland, here, not, not far from the Baltic..." Steve spoke as Peggy and I watched him sketch precise coordinates on a map, perfectly duplicating the one in the hydra factory I overlooked.

After returning from being gone for days, rescuing the men from the hydra factory, Steve and I were able to shower and change into new clothes; I was matching Peggy, of course, as Steve, into a much better uniform, one similar to Phillips. we

"And the last was outside Strasbourg, say thirty, forty miles west of the Maginot line." Steve looks up at Peggy, who looks at him as an aide picks up the map and carries it across the room. "I only go a quick look."

Peggy then looked at me, and I froze a bit before speaking. "I- I just followed him."

Peggy then shrugged her shoulders. "Nobody's perfect."

She smiled at him as she walked off, causing Steve to linger on her, smiling a bit.

The man was practically drooling.

I nudged him, causing him to snap into reality as he followed Peggy and me. Eventually, Phillips joined as I told them what I knew about the factory. "These are the weapon factories we know about," I tell them as they study the map. "Sergeant Barnes said Hydra shipped all the bombs to another facility. And that... Wasn't on the map."

"Agent Carter, coordinate with MI6.
I want every Allied eyeball looking for that main Hydra base." Phillips tells her. Peggy and I exchanged glances for a moment.

"What about us?" I asked him. "I know I'm new to this agent thing, but what can we do?"

"We're going to light a fire under Johann Schmidt's ass." He spoke as a blonde woman who goes by Lorraine, Phillips's secretary. "What do you say, Rogers? You think you can wipe Hydra off it?"

"Yes, sir. I'll need a team." Steve answered.

"We're already putting together the best men," Phillips spoke. Steve looked at me as he looked back at Phillips, a step ahead of him.

"With all due respect, sir, so am I."

"I look..."

"You look stunning," Peggy spoke as she stood behind me. In celebration of rescuing the men, the guys and I decided to get drinks tonight. I, however, didn't have anything to wear.

I didn't pack any dresses or dress heels because I didn't think it was necessary. So who's the first person I go running to? Peggy.

And never in my entire life have I worn a dress like this.

It was like hers, but green, which made me relatively older, and instead of my hair being in a middle part, it was now a side part, like Peggy's. The only difference was her hair was curled, as I wasn't.
