Months passed since that night.
Since the ghost rider, since that horrid fear that always laid inside her mind and since her dad began to hunt her relentlessly.
Corin hadn't left Liam's house because when she did she struggled.
Really, really struggled and he was the only one that could help her.
It was late as Corin sat in the library with headphones in as she wrote things out of a history book.
She liked to be alone but would rather be around the people she trusted.
She got visions of her dad finding her and each time she went around a corner she sometimes saw him.
She was terrified of him finding her because she knew what he was capable of.
Suddenly Nolan was across from her looking at her with doll-like eyes that made her so nervous.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
She looked at him and saw something wrong behind his eyes.
"Research," she said.
"Where's Liam?" Nolan asked.
"What?" she asked.
"Liam's always with you," said Nolan.
"He's at home," she said.
"I learnt something today," said Nolan said.
She looked at him "Did you know that wolves mate and the male will do anything to protect the female?" said Nolan.
"N-No," she said.
"I've gotta go," she said before rushing out of the library.
She ran out of school before seeing her dad's car.
She froze before running away as fast as she could.

An hour passed as she got to Liam's house.
She walked inside to see Scott with Liam.
She looked at him before rushing upstairs.
Why was all of this happening?
Why was her dad at the school?
Why was Nolan acting like he was possessed?
So many questions rushed through her head as she walked into Liam's room.
She tossed her bag before sitting on the bed.
She threw her body back before looking at the ceiling.
Corin closed her eyes as she took calm breaths.
Suddenly Liam walked in.
"How was the study session?" he said.
"I don't think im going to go anymore.
I rather study here" she said.
"Why?
What happened?" he asked.
"I saw Nolan and Liam you should have seen him.
It was like he was possessed.
He said something about wolves and after that I just left.
He really fucking scared me" she said.
Liam looked at her as he sat next to her.
Corin was one of the strongest people he knew but there were so many things that triggered her and made her crawl into a little ball to hide from the world.
"You don't know do you?" Liam asked.
"What?" she asked.
"There's something making everyone afraid of the supernatural.
Nolan is a part of a group of hunters.
I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you" he said.
"Why am I not terrified then?" she asked.
"I don't know.
Mason is the same" Liam said.
"This will start a blood bath," she said.
He wrapped his arms around her "It's going to be ok.
Scott and the others are trying to find a solution" said Liam.
She rested her head on his shoulder as she tried to hold everything together.
She was trying to be better than she was but how could she be when she just found out that humans are coming after people that she trusted?
How could she when she found out humans are coming after Liam?
