Time passed as Corin sat on the couch as she traced the lines on her palm.
It was a tactic Liam taught hera focusing on something always helped her.
Suddenly Liam was pulled out of the room.
She looked in the direction he was pulled through before getting up.
Corin walked through the station until getting to the boy's bathroom.
She opened the door to see the man that Malia seemed to hate more than anything on the floor holding his nose.
"Are you ok?" she said as she knelt beside him.
He looked up to see her causing them both to freeze.
"Yeah, your boyfriend punched me but I can heal," he said.
He stood up and walked to a mirror.
"Liam's a friend" she said.
"You're always together.
Dont lie" he said.
"Why would I lie?" she asked.
"Ok then what are the both of you?" he asked.
"Friends," she said as she walked to him as she got a tissue out if the pack that was in her pocket.
She wet it under the tap before looking at him.
"Hold still," she said before cleaning the blood that came from his healing nose.
He looked at her and thought she was the most beautiful creature in the world and knowing that she and Liam were just friends made him truly so happy.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Corin," she said.
"No last name?" he asked.
"Not anymore," she said.
He looked at her as his brows furrowed.
What did she mean?
She finished getting all the blood off him before they made eye contact.
The minute their eyes met the world stopped moving.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she looked at him while memorising each feature he had so if she never saw him again she had a memory which was more then enough.
She didn't make friends easily so when she did she held them close.
"I should go," she said.
"You could stay here.
Wait whatever happening out" he said.
"I shouldn't.
Thanks for offering though" she said.
"No problem.
I'm Theo Raeken by the way" he said.
"It's nice to meet you Theo," she said.
He smiled before watching her walk out.
There was something about her that set something inside him off.
The minute he saw her he had the urge to protect her and provide for her as well as be by her.
Corin walked to Liam causing him to smile softly.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"I'm holding on," she said before resting her head on his shoulder which made him into a puddle of slush.
He looked at her "After this if we can we can go home and order takeout" he said.
"Dont promise that," she said.
"I'm not" he said.
"Then absolutely," said Corin as she smiled.
"And if we die in here I'll be beside you through it all.
That's something I promise" he said.
"I can't lose you so let's not worry about that," she said.
"Ok," he said before taking her hand.
