Minutes passed as Corin sat on the stone wall smoking a cigarette she found in her pocket as she ignored Theo and Liam while relaxing before everything went to hell.
"Are you done?
Or should we keep going?" Liam asked.
"I think they're sold," said Theo.
"You ripped my t-shirt," said Liam.
"Yeah, you broke my nose.
Twice.
It healed, you broke it again" said Theo.
Two times!" said Theo.
Liam punched Theo again as Corin looked at the sky as she kept going into dazes.
"Three times," said Liam.
"We should go before more come," she said.
"If we find a tunnel we can stay there for a little longer than an open area," said Theo.
"I know where to go.
Follow me" said Liam.
She hopped off the stone wall before walking with Liam.
"How are you doing?" Liam asked.
"Ok," she said as she smiled softly.

Minutes passed as she walked with Theo through the zoo as Liak cane up to them.
"There's still three of them, and it's been half an hour," said Liam.
"Dont blame me.
You're the one that picked the abandoned zoo.
The hell we doing in this place anyway?" Theo said.
"Because it's like Mykonos," said Liam.
"Like what?" Theo asked.
"It's a Greek island," said Corin softly.
"In the city they built these long; narrow, winding streets that all meet up with each other.
Invaders would get lost in them like they were in a maze trying to figure out which way to go" said Liam.
"What? I like history" said Liam.
"I'm impressed.
It's a good idea," said Theo.
"Yeah, only if invaders actually show up," said Liam.
"They will.
You both made it hard for them not to believe that only we were here" said Corin softly.
Suddenly a bunch of black cars drove to the zoo then stopped.
"After this im going to give you a reward Corin.
You are officially the anti-jinxer" said Liam.
"That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me," she said.
Theo then walked away but Liam stayed frozen.
"Hey, let's go.
We're supposed to be decoys not target practice.
You still working on that anger?" Theo said.
"I'm fine" said Liam.
"We'll you can be angry at Nolan and stay alive.
Come on" said Theo.
Corin's heart started to race as she heard the guns that were outside.
"Fine, get caught" said Theo Before walking away.
"Theo please don't" she said.
Corin walked to Liam "Please, Liam let's just go.
I need you" she said.
He looked at her "I hate him" said Liam.
"I know, but I won't lose you," she said.
She took his hand before walking away with him.
"If I get out of control stay away," he said.
"I know.
I promise I'll let Theo deal with it" she said before resting her head on his shoulder.
"Thanks for coming today," he said.
She looked at him "I didn't mind.
I'm fine as long as im with you" she said as they caught up to Theo.
She may not be supernatural but she had one power and it was the ability to bring Liam back down to earth and soothe him.
