Third Person's POV
Count Dooku walked into the room where Obi-Wan was being held.
"Traitor." Obi-Wan said.
"Oh no, my friend." Count Dooku said. "This is a mistake, a terrible mistake. They have gone too far. This is madness."
"I thought you were the leader here, Dooku." Obi-Wan said.
"This had nothing to do with me, I assure you." Dooku said, walking around. "I will petition immediately to have you set free."
"And Nefari?" Obi-Wan asked. "What about her?"
"Yes, her too." Dooku said. "And I will make sure her injuries are healed up too."
"Well, I hope it doesn't take too long." Obi-Wan said. "We have work to do."
"May I ask why two Jedi knights are all the way out here on Geonosis?" Dooku asked, walking around again.
"We've been tracking a bounty hunter named Jango Fett." Obi-Wan answered. "Do you know him?"
"There are no bounty hunters here that I am aware of." Dooku answered. "The Geonosians don't trust them." He stopped in front of Obi-Wan.
"Who can blame them?" Obi-Wan asked. "But he is here, I can assure you."
"It's a great pity that our paths have never crossed before, Obi-Wan." Dooku said. "Qui-Gon always spoke very highly of you and your partner. I wish he were still alive. I could use his help right now."
"Qui-Gon Jinn would never join you." Obi-Wan said.
"Don't be so sure, my young Jedi." Dooku said and continued to walk again. "You forget that he was once my apprentice, just as you were once his. He knew all about the corruption in the senate but he would bever have gone along with it if he had learned the truth as I have."
"The truth?" Obi-Wan asked.
"The truth." Dooku said and continued to walk around again. "What if I told you that the Republic was now under the control of the dark lord of the Sith?"
"No, that's not possible." Obi-Wan said. "The Jedi would be aware of it."
"The dark side of the Force has clouded their vision, my friend." Dooku said. "Hundreds of senators are now under the influence of a Sith lord called Darth Sidious."
"I don't believe you." Obi-Wan said.
"The viceroy of the Trade Federation was once in league with this Darth Sidious but he was betrayed 10 years ago by the dark lord." Dooku said. "He came to me for help. He told me everything. You must join me, Obi-Wan, and together we will destroy the Sith!"
"I will never join you, Dooku." Obi-Wan said. Dooku walked over to the side and turned to Obi-Wan.
"It may be difficult to secure your release." Dooku said. "However, this is easier." Suddenly, Nefari was thrown into the room. She landed on the floor with a painful grunt. Obi-Wan saw her form. She was beaten and bloody. She tried to get up but she was so weak.
