It's been over a year since the Junior Cup. Currently, within the Alola Region, Cloud was off to a secluded island off the coast of the beach, relaxing under the sun after training with his Pokemon.
Cloud: ....
When he opens his eyes, his Eevee is looking at him pouting.
Cloud: What?
Eevee: Eievui, vui.

Cloud then picks her up and smiles at her.
Cloud: Tell you what? Because you worked hard, I'll treat you to your favorite pancakes for dinner tonight. How's that?
Then Eevee had sparkles in her eyes.
