You don't know how much sleep you had gotten so far, but a sudden loud crashed made you jump right up from the couch. It was still dead of night and dark l, except for a ray of light shining through the windows from the plant's moon. You glanced over to where Sylvie had gone to sleep and noticed that she wasn't there. You didn't dare to make any noise so you listened intently for any more noise. You didn't hear anything, so making your way in the dark you quietly headed to the door. You had almost made it to the door when a loud crash and flash of green blew past the door in the hallway. The next moment you saw Sylvie dash past. She must have been fighting something off as she ran after whatever she had just blasted.

You kept quiet and peaked out the door. Sylvie was down the hall squaring off with a creature that looked like a mix between a wolf and a lion as far you could tell in the shadows. Sylvie's green magic glowing from her hands cast a light across the hallway. You looked around to see if you could find a weapon in case there were more and your eyes stopped. Right there, at the other end of the hallway, was the tempad Sylvie kept on her belt. The same tempad Sylvie kidnapped you with. That was it, your ticket home just sitting on the floor while Sylvie was preoccupied. You took once glance at her fighting the beast and decided to make a run for it. You knew how the tempads worked and if you found a power source you could get out of here and end this nightmare.

As quietly and stealthily as you could manage with your leg, you grabbed the tempad off the floor and took one last glance at Sylvie. She was still fighting off the beast and facing away from you. You were worried about seeing more of the creatures but you decided to take the risk, you needed to get home to the TVA. You turned to the stairs and quickly made your way down them. You could hear the occasional crash from the fight going on above you. The light only entering from the windows didn't give you much of a view as you made your way down the stairs. You listened intently for any movement along the way, afraid one of those creatures would hear you and come for you.

You had been climbing down the stairs for a few moments when you realized you hadn't heard any noise from above. You realized the fight must be over and a sense of fear and anxiety washed over you. Sylvie would be looking for you now and you weren't sure you could outrun her. The only thing you could do now is get out of the building and hide. You practically ran down the last few flights of stairs and ran out of the building. The cold night air washed over you and you instantly wished you had warmer clothes. You gave a quick glance over the street to check for wildlife and decided to run to the right heading deeper into the overgrown city.

You needed a power source and quick. You were sure if Sylvie caught you now she would kill you for stealing the tempad. You ran a few blocks as quick as you could manage and dashed into the first promising building. The glass doors that once led into the building had long since been broken and removed. You walked in after a quick glance inside to check for anything dangerous. You gave a peak out the doors and looked up and down the street for Sylvie. Seeing nothing, you turned your attention to the contents of the building. You were looking for anything with signs of a power source or any battery life really. You took a look at the battery on the tempad. Not great, but it could be worse. You only needed enough charge to make one trip and hopefully this planet had it.

You got busy looking in decrepit desk and broken down cupboards. Searching for any sign of electronics or any electricity. You had been searching for 15 minutes when something made you pause. You looked out of the building and saw a faint green light. You recognized that light immediately. Sylvie's magic was glowing and making its way up the street. You quickly dashed behind a counter and stayed silent. You heard a loud crash and scream from Sylvie. She was obviously pissed and looking for you. You peeked over the counter and watched as a broken down car was thrown into another nearby building. Sylvie's temper combined with her magic was creating chaos as she continued her rampage.

Your heart was beating out of your chest as you listened intently. You could hear her making her way closer to your building as random debris was thrown all around. Her screams echoed against the walls and made your heart beat even faster. You needed to make your way out quick without being noticed. You took a look around and saw a backdoor in the darkness. You took one last peek over the counter and since the coast was clear you ran to the back. It lead straight out to a little patch of grass in what looked like a backyard in between the city buildings. You glanced around looking for a way out. The yard was surrounded by a tall black gate connecting the buildings. In the dark, you slowly realized there wasn't an opening in the gate. You were trapped.

You turned to head back in the building and just as you did a hand was wrapped around your throat. It gripped tightly glowing green. You stood face to face with Sylvie as she held you tightly. Her eyes bore into yours and you could feel the anger radiating off of her. You didn't get a word out before you lifted you by your throat and slammed you to the ground. She climbed on top of you and you lifted your waist to try and throw her off with your weight. She grabbed your hip with one hand and pushed your hips back down into the ground, her hands still gripping your throat. She leaned into your face and with venom in her words she said "where. Is. The. Tempad." Spitting each word as she went. She moved her hand from your throat and grasped your hair behind your head. She pulled your hair forcing your head into a tilt backwards and making you look her right in the eyes.
"It's in my pocket," you manage to stammer out, frozen in fear. Sylvie reached into your pocket and grabbed the tempad, replacing it on her belt. Her hands were shaking with anger and still green with magic. She grabbed her knife and put it to your throat.
"Tell me why I shouldn't kill you now," she spat. "I-I-I don't have a reason," you muttered staring back into her eyes. The knife was digging into your throat painfully.
"Then I guess killing you it is," she said angrily. Still holding your head firmly by the hair she gave a smirk and carefully dragged her knife from your throat up to your cheek. Dragging the knife up and down ever so slightly and watching the fear in your eyes grow and tears well up, she whispered in your ear "but first, I'm going to take my sweet time with you."
