"I'm sorry for being so mean." I tell Lucifer as he kneels in front of me. His hands cup my cheeks and he presses a kiss on my forehead.

"You are perfect, Sweetheart. I will be back." I try to look at him through my swollen eyes, but the light pains them to much.

"Please." I beg softly, but I can already hear them walking away. A sob forces its way out my throat, as I continue to kneel on the floor. Hands pull at me and I fight it off.

"Mitel, Mitel, It's me." Mercury's voice cuts through my thoughts and I look up at him. He inhales sharply as he brings shaky hands to my face. "What happened, Baby?"

"They, they took him. It's all my fault. I was so mean to him." I murmur, resting my head against his shoulder. Every breath feels painful. That woman stomped the shit out of my stomach and I fear that she fractured my ribs.

"Where does it hurt, baby?" He scans over me and I point to the left side of my stomach. He reaches for it and I shuffle away. "Let me check it."

"No, I must wait for him to come back. He will come back." I sob and he wipes away the tears forming on my face.

"Officers are here." Ethan murmurs and he walks over to me, wrapping his arms around my shoulders.

"Alright, I'll be back." Mercury stands, he gives me one more look then walks away. I continue to kneel, Ethan's presence surrounding me.

I'm thankful for Mercury and Ethan, but they aren't him. I pushed him away for so long and now that he's actually gone, my heart can't take it. I can only imagine the horrible things they're doing to him.

The door slams open and I jump, but keep my eyes glued to the floor. I don't know how much more of this I can take. "Oh, Sweetheart, why are you still on the floor?" My heart skips, when I see it's Lucifer and I reach to him with shaky hands.

"You came back." I mutter, looking at him as if he's a ghost. "You came back." Is all I can mutter over and over.

"I told you I would. I wasn't going to leave you guys." He says, flashing me a brilliant smile. "Let's go get you cleaned up, yeah?" He rise, and holds out a hand for me to take and I do.

He leads me towards the medical personnel in our front yard and they do a complete scan of me. "Mr. Santana, he'll be just fine. His side will be sore for a couple of days, but he will be fine. Over the counter pain medicine will be all I recommend for any aches he may be experiencing." The lady says and Lucifer nods.

"Alright, thank you Cathy." He grabs my hand and walks me back to the house. I'm placed on the sofa and then he's gone again and my breathing constricts when I realize I'm left alone.

"Don't go." I sob and I don't know why I'm acting like this, but I can't help it.

"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" Lucifer's voice is beautiful. Everything I needed to hear to calm me.

"You left." I mutter, clutching his shirt in my hands.

"I will never leave you again, Sweetheart." He brushes some hair out of my face. "Here take these." I do as he says and I sigh, when the pain melts away.

"T-thank you." I stutter, he looks at me for a bit longer, making me feel self conscious. I know I must look bad, but why is he string so hard?

"You're so strong, Mitel." He whispers and I give him a confused look. I haven't done anything to be labeled as strong. "Such a good boy too." My heart picks up speed at his praise.

"Really?" I look at him hopeful. I love that I can please him. That he sees something worthy in me.

"Oh yes, really. You're a very good boy." He says and I fight the smile that wants to form on my face. "Let's go to bed, we'll sleep in your room." I nod, leading him to my room, looking back every now and then to make sure he's still there.

We reach my room and the dim light that I put on earlier is still on, even though the sun is starting to rise. My dark green walls, shine dimly in the new sun and the breeze blowing throughout my room, cools me down a bit. "This is it." I say more to myself then to him. He looks around a bit, then gives me a smile.

"You go on and shower and I'll be right here." He prompts and I stand, moving towards the bathroom, but I can't seem to make myself go in. "What's the matter, Sweetheart?" His voice is gentle, and his hands caress my back.

"I-I want you to shower with me." I keep my eyes firmly trained on the ground, but he forces my eyes to meet his by grabbing hold of my chin.

"Are you sure?" He searches my face and I nod.

"Yes, I'm sure." I tell him, he gently pushes me into the bathroom and we both strip, before stepping into the hot water together.

My back rests against his chest and I sigh in contentment. He washes me softly, making sure not to press onto any of my bruises. My hair is washed and a hot rag is placed over my eyes, to help reduce the puffiness.

He dries me off and then we're heading to my black and green bed, situated in the middle of my room. We don't bother to dress, because as weird as this may sound, I want to feel his skin against mine. I want to feel him.

The light is turned off and the curtains are slid shut, enveloping the room in total darkness. "Good night, sweetheart." He murmurs, placing a kiss on my forehead and I lean further into him, feeling sleep weighing me down.

"Good night, Sir."
