chapter 61

" falling for him wasn't falling at all , it was like walking into a house and suddenly knowing you're home ..."

[ Present time ]

" That night ...i got injured while he was beating wooshik he tried to hurt him with a broken piece of vase ...i got in the middle and it pierced through my stomach."

Jimin was listening to jungkooks broken voice ...as tears were flowing endlessly. He just cried all the time listening to jungkook.

The amount of things he had been through...the amount of pain jungkook bared , it made jimin want to cry his heart out and so he did .

Jungkook was crying with his head between his knees .

Jimin tried to comfort him .

" i-im sorry " jungkook sobbed brokenly.

" sorry for what ?" jimin asked .

" i- i did the same things to you that i hated him for ... I- i hurt you like he hurt me , I'm a moster I'm so-sorry. "

Now jimin understood the reason behind jungkooks distress , now he understood why he couldn't sleep at night , why he found jungkook crying...it was because of guilt .

Jungkook was blaming himself for hurting jimin , he was still not able to move on and forgive himself... even tho jimin had forgiven him but he couldn't forgive himself, he was still buried under mountain of guilt that kept on growing bigger and bigger .

" jungkook it's ok , whatever happened is in the past now ." jimin said but jungkook just shaked head denying crying again .

" i-i don't want to be like him jimin...i- don't want you to hurt like he hurt me ...i- don't want you to hate me ." jungkook brokenly sobbed it made jimin's heart ache .

jimin cupped jungkooks cheeks making him look up .

" jungkook ! Look at me ! Stop crying ". He said looking into his eyes .

" you're nothing like him , because you know what you did was wrong and you still feel bad about it unlike him , and you wish to change ! That's a huge difference do not compare yourself with him, because you're nothing like him, you never will be ! ".

Jungkook had stopped crying , he got lost into jimin's eyes , jimin was serious about what he said ... jungkook could feel it . It made him feel better , having jimin near , made him feel like he had someone who really cares for him , he felt safe and assured , jimin made him happy , and that was the moment he realised how much he loved jimin.

Jimin was still looking into jungkooks eyes , jungkooks eyes were deep thousands of emotions sparkeled into those doe eyes.

Before jimin could realise jungkook moved closer , closing the distance between them , their lips were inches apart , jimin could feel jungkooks soft breath on this lips.

Their heart raced ...jimin was blinking trying to comprehend what just happened and before he could stop jungkook leaned forward closing the only distance between them as he kissed jimin like there was no tommorow.

Jimin closed his eyes , he remembered the last time jungkook had kissed him .

" i-i love you ...wooshik " those words still made his heart twist as he felt like crying .

Somehow jungkook sensed it as he kissed jimin even more , as if telling him that this kiss was meant for him ... only him .

Jimin couldn't stop himself....he Just wanted to melt into jungkooks lips as he kissed him back .

Jimin could never stop himself when it came to jungkook.

After a brief moment both of them pulled away catching their breathes.

Still close to each other they locked eyes again.

" i- i love you " jungkook whispered.

Jimin's heart raced ... he felt like he couldn't breathe...his heart ached to hear those words from jungkook but he wanted to hear more ...he wanted for jungkook to say that he loves jimin and only jimin.

And so jungkook did exactly that .

" i love so much jimin , i love you and i can't live without you ..."

Jimin froze ...his eyes burned tears threatening to spill .

" this wasn't supposed to happen, i wasn't supposed to love you like this . When i first met you i wouldn't have ever imagined that you would be the one i would ache for , the one who's name would make my heart feel alive again . You mean more to me than i ever expected."

" ju-jungkook -" jimin's voice came out cracked , he didn't believe what he just heard .

" you're my favorite person , my favorite person to look at to listen to , to be with , you're my favorite person to miss , to love , to be everything , you're my everything . I want to give you everything i have , i want to share my life with you , i want to make memories with you , so i can look back in 50 years and be sure i haven't missed out on anything because all I've wanted is you ."

Jimin just looked at jungkook as he blinked away tears ...

Jimin's heart was filled with emotions, he had never felt like this ever ...he felt alive .

" i want you to know that , when i picture myself happy , it's with you ... you're my favorite place to go to when my mind searches for peace , you make me feel like i deserve to live ". Jungkook closed his eyes after letting everything out...

" i-i - " jimin couldn't make himself to say anything he felt like the words were stuck into his mouth.

Jungkook looked down...not looking at jimin anymore he was scared that jimin would turn him down...he started to regret telling jimin everything...he was scared jimin would leave him .

" i love you too jungkook " jimin said with his eyes wide open like he himself couldn't believe that he had just confessed his feelings to jungkook.

Jungkook let out the breath he was holding , he looked into jimin's eyes he couldn't believe that it was true , his lips curled into a smile as he cried and took jimin into his arms .

And for the first time jimin felt like he belonged somewhere...

That he was always meant to be here ...in jungkook's arms.

" what is love ? "

"Two damaged people trying to heal each other is love ".
