The princess and the jerk
Eleanor covered her mouth in horror, letting out a soft squeak, hiding her face from that guy.
He was the last suitor.
A pair of pink eyes kept their stare on her, analyzing every movement, a smirk across his face, and scars decorated his face.
He was tall, with long legs, skinny arms, a white cape, and blond hair, he had tied his hair in a low ponytail, which smoothly fell on his back, leaving a few, messy strands around his face.
Eleanor turned away, redirecting her eyes at Leonard, who was doing his best to hide the giggle he wanted to let out, he knew something like this would happen, but he failed at warning her, but did he even try?
"Eleanor of Dandelion," the blond walked to the group but directed straight to the Dandelion princess.
"I expected you to be prettier," he whispered, but it echoed in the room, making Eleanor frown.
"Excuse you?" She looked at him, having to raise her head slightly, due to him being half a head taller, she walked to him, not feeling embarrassed.
"I said that I expected you to be prettier."
"And I expected you to be less of a jerk, but I guess we both can't get what we wanted," she replied, walking away from him and the group, who all followed her since she was one of the few people that knew their way across the castle.
Eleanor walked in a hurry, stepping loudly through the halls, but no one else would hear those steps, as she was far from everyone.
Everyone except her new friends, Artemis, Eugene, and Willow were all following her, while Leonard strolled, not worried about Eleanor, as he knew how she was.
She was an elegant princess, but she was also a moody teenager. She needed space without him, and he would give it to her.
"Eleanor," Eugene spoke, trying to reach her, but it only made her slow down a bit, realizing she had been running in heels.
"How do you even manage to run in those!?"
Eleanor turned to the group, noticing Leonard watching from afar, next to him, the blond who had been quite a jerk to Eleanor.
"I am sorry, but assholes like that get on my nerves," she apologized in a loud tone, making sure the blonde would hear those words.
They walked past a dark tunnel, Eleanor looked surprised, that wasn't there before.
As if a sailor was lured by a siren, Eleanor walked to the tunnel, torches lighting up as she walked past them.
Everyone followed, even Leonard, who seemed as confused as the rest, including the Dandelion princess.
The only sounds that could be heard, were the footsteps of each royal and friend.
Leather boots made contact with concrete floors, short heels echoing with every step they took.
Willow was cautious, not sure of what she would find there.
