The princess and the arrogant prince

Even if Eleanor knew she had enough time to find a suitor or convince the rest of her friends to help her become queen, it was still stressing her.

The party had ended, not before Eleanor welcomed Prince Gus, who was always kind, when Eleanor found out that he was friends with the Titan kingdom's prince, her view of him somewhat changed.

If Gus was able to befriend him, maybe she could.

Now, most royals had asked their parents if they could stay, and it somehow became a 'royal slumber party,' since most royals would sneak to the other rooms.

Artemis was handed some extra clothes, for her to change into and be more comfortable.

The sailor princess admitted that even if she did like wearing trousers, nothing changed how breezy and comfortable a nightgown was.

Gus and Hunter had changed into their 'sleepwear', just a shirt and some comfortable pants.

Eugene also changed his clothes and proceeded to sneak some treats into his room.

Artemis had helped him steal at least a dozen different types of snacks, from salty, spicy, sweet, and even cold.

The two had become great friends, having many things in common, like the urge to explore more, but to settle down one day and rule their kingdom.

So they spent most of the time together in Eugene's room, laughing non-stop about little things they told each other, or Artemis' impressions of Hunter and his uncle, King Belos.

Eleanor had put Arabella to bed, they hadn't seen each other much during the party, so the young one was so excited to see her sister again.

Eleanor was sometimes more of a motherly figure than their mother was.

Adrianna and Henry Dandelion were not good parents, maybe they were good rulers, but you can't 'rule' a child and expect them to love you.

You have to care for one, treat them with respect, and listen to their opinions.

Sadly, the Dandelion family didn't understand that.

While Arabella snored quietly, the oldest princess in the room decided to change her clothes.

She hadn't seen her friends during the ball, Lilith, Eda, Raine, and Darius. She was sure they were there, but they didn't have the chance to meet.

Leonard had left a rose outside Eleanor's room. This time, it was a red rose, passionate. Eleanor laughed at that silly thought, changing her clothes as quickly and quietly as possible. She opened the window, but Leonard wasn't there to catch her.

Damnit, maybe something had happened to him.

Eleanor closed the window, and ran to the door of the room, she opened it, hoping it wouldn't make any noise.

Luckily, Arabella had a heavy sleep.

Eleanor closed the door behind her, tiptoeing. She checked every corner for guards, knowing their routine.
