The princess prepares for the last suitors

It had been a week since the last gathering with her unofficial staff, she had seen Leonard every day after it, he was making sure Eleanor and Arabella were safe.

At this exact moment, both princesses were having lunch with the king and queen, but no one was talking.

The only sound that could be heard was the awkward noise of forks sliding on top of a plate, the food, as always, was delicious.

But eating the same thing every lunch gets tiring.

Eleanor wanted to try new foods, not just the same old moon turkey meat covered in fire bee honey, with a side dish of mashed spicy carrot puré, drizzled with fairy dust, don't ask how they got the fairy dust.

The drink was always bubbling grape and lemon juice, a weird mix, but it was good.

Eleanor finished her lunch and raised her stare toward her father, begging to leave the awkward moment, without saying anything.

"Fine," he agreed to let her go, which Eleanor did after saying thanks.

Arabella stared at her sister, who left the grand dining room, she continued eating, of course, some servants had to help her cut the turkey, or drink from her cup.

In just a few hours, the ball hosted by the Dandelion family would start, Eleanor had to get ready, she didn't have much time for how many things she had to do.

She needed a dress, she needed to pick one from the variety of dresses she already had.

Most of those dresses were for only important occasions, this was one.

Eleanor walked as quickly as she could to her room, untying her hair from the annoying high bun she had all day.

She took off her corset, walking over to her dresser. She opened a door next to it, it was a walking closet, filled with dresses of all types, every color, it was like a rainbow had puked in there.

She had in mind what color she wanted to wear, a dark red, long dress could fit the occasion since she would normally wear green dresses, or blue ones, but red would make Eleanor stand out.

The princess grabbed five dresses of the same color, but different tones, shapes, and lengths.

The first one was a dark red dress with no sleeves, a lotus flower shape was embroidered in white on the skirt, the skirt also had multiple capes, but having no sleeves annoyed Eleanor.

The second dress had a bell-shaped skirt, and puffy sleeves, it was a softer red than the other one, and the cloth had elegant patterns, this one had three butterflies embroidered the same way, but to a side of the skirt.

She liked that dress, but she wanted to see the other dresses first.

The third dress wasn't as puffy as the first two, it was longer, and the back of the skirt slipped on the floor, but it did show one of her legs through a cut on the side.

With that dress, she had the advantage of showing her chest and back, not enough for her to be naked, but it made her look curvy, did she want to look curvy?
