Jay's POV

"You know you can actually have fun" I say to Jen, she's set her eyes on Brad again. I don't consider us an item and I would not hold her back from having her fun. I know she's been doing him whilst I was away merely from the way that he is looking at her. I sip my brandy and smile glancing at Rachel.

"Jay I do actually like you" she responds and I laugh.

"Don't" I respond cheekily walking over to the other girls on the sofa. I hear her curse me as I walk away and a smile plays on my lips. Rachel is not essentially what I usually go for, but she has an absolute blabber mouth and after that conversation with Matthew certain questions need to be asked. I leave Jen in the dust and find my seat between Rachel and Phillipa. Ryan eyes me conspicuously and I tell him to relax. Besides I won't be doing his fat sister, anytime soon. Then it strikes me maybe he's sweet on Rachel, that makes this more alluring to me. I can win a girl over any other guy.

"Rachel, Phillipa" I say softly sitting down holding my whiskey.

"How was your trip Jay" Rachel asks smiling at me. She has hated me before, even told me to go to hell but what can I say I have a certain charm. I push my blonde hair back wearing my Rolex and a crisp new white Burberry shirt.

"Great" I say matter of factly linking one leg over the other.

"Catch me up on all that I have missed Rachel" I say reaching my hand over her shoulder and smiling at her.

"We've just been partying" she looks to Phillipa, who nods. Oh cagey. Rachel is normally the first person to blow anybodies cover. She dislikes Matthew and I wonder why she doesn't want to spill the beans on Taylor. I'm going to have to be far more direct here. I may even have to sleep with her.  It's a length I'm willing to go too.

"I know about Matthew's new catch" I say smiling.

"Honestly don't get me wrong, I like girls. But not ones that ask me to stay at home all week" I laugh, play it down Jay, don't let her know you're interested. She will feel a false sense of security and open up.

"What Taylor?" She says and Ross' ears prick. We're at his house, little place in the suburbs. I brought my own brandy knowing he wouldn't have any and that Matthew wouldn't be here. Ross has been on the sofa all night alone; drinking and smoking. It's pathetic.

"Is that her name?" I say playing dumb.

"I hear they're together" I say, I don't know a darn thing but she will correct me if I'm wrong.

"Honestly I don't know" she deflects.

"Honestly" I say playing with her hair, she blushes. No girl can resist me.

"You do know" I smile at her, holding her stare. I look over at the empty bottles and realise she's gotten through around two on her own. She's all mine. Mine for questioning.

"I don't know I think he likes her" she says softly.

"He's not here" I say looking around and smiling.

"He is not with you anymore" I say and she looks down.

"If you're so concerned why don't you ask him" Ross pipes up. Here we go the big blonde bear coming to the rescue of all the girls.

"I asked him why he wasn't coming tonight" I say shooting him a look.

"Why he didn't want to come and see his best mate now I'm back off holiday and he shrugged me off" I say laughing watching Jen make out with Brad. Thanking the lord that she won't be coming back to my apartment.

"Are you feeling lonely Jay" Rachel smiles.

"Just a little" I say with a false smile.

"I can cure that for you" she sighs as Phillipa scoffs.

Ross stands up appalled and heads into the kitchen. It's why he never gets laid, he's full of a pompous moral attitude.

"Would you darlin" I say to her softly and she smiles a broad grin.

"I'd love too" she smiles slightly shy. Absolutely stunned that I would pay her attention. She's right of course, this is just a ploy to lower her inhibitions around me.

I lean in slightly and put my brandy down. She shudders and Phillipa goes to sit with Ryan. Sulking.

"Would it be okay if I was to just" I say in her ear touching her hip bone.

"Put my hands here and my lips" I say kissing her neck.

"Here" I finish.

"Yes" she sighs breathless.

"Yes who?" I ask her and she smiles.

"Yes Jay" she smiles.

"Good girl" I say as I make out with her.

I pull away lightly and she looks up at me wondering what my game is.

"Would you like my lips anywhere else Rachel" I ask her softly looking down into her eyes with my piercing blue ones.

"Yes please, Jay" she smirks and I smile wryly.

"Where darlin" I ask her and she sighs.

"Everywhere" she chuckles and I sigh looking down at my watch. It's a nice Rolex, my father advised me  on the perfect watch to get. I have the submariner model in oyster steel. I like to think it looks a cut above the rest of any other guys watches here.

"Well it's already what?" I joke with her smiling and she laughs.

"Just gone midnight" I smile and she eyes my watch.

"Got somebody to rush off too" she smirks.

"No just my king sized bed and champagne at home unfortunately" I laugh and her eyes boggle.

"Ohh" she smiles softly.

"Do you like champagne Rachel" I ask her silkily.

"Yes" she smirks.

"Yes who?" I ask her and she laughs.

"Yes Jay" she smiles up at me.

"Well that is a pickle for you isn't it. Stay here with the Prosecco and Ross' sour face all night or come home with me to the champagne" I smirk.

"I'm going to grab my coat" she says as if I might run off if she leaves me for a second. I nod satisfied.

"Make your own way home Jen" I call across the room and she flips the middle finger up at me whilst snogging Brad's face.

"Oh and Ross" I call through the kitchen.

"I'll see you soon man" I wink at him and he sneers slightly.

"And I'll be sure to ask Matthew myself next time" I say laughing before I head to the door where Rachel is waiting for me, in a bright pink fluffy coat.
