Jay's POV

"Mmm fuck" she's swearing and really I wish she wouldn't curse at all. After all I am the dominant one, not the other way around.

Flying in from Dubai to Cali is always good, my mom stuck out there for longer. Although the holidays are over she will still have to remain there for work. I briefly think about her alone in the apartment. Who will make my mother coffees and lattes ? Who will she drag along to fortune tellers?

Now I'm back though and very much living out my single bachelor lifestyle in my own apartment, I've been considering Taylor and Matthew a fair bit. I finish as Jen swears, and I curse as she always has to ruin the moment. She picks herself up from the sofa and pulls her strewn clothes back on. They're not prada let's just say that. I scrape my blonde hair back and walk into my state of the art kitchen in my boxers. Pizza boxes line the side and a few bottles of brandy. I'm very healthy.

I laugh to myself enjoying my own company far more than that of the women in the next room. I'll go back in soon and she will have switched the flatscreen on to some girl thing. I grab her something, any alcohol I can find and rustle myself up a protein shake.

"You know" she says in the doorway and I curse, why she won't just leave me alone is beyond me.

"Matthew hasn't said he's going to the party" she explains and I eye her curiously.

"He hasn't said a thing to anybody about anything" she snarls and I'm close to telling her to get her things.

"He's going I've asked" I say simply. She recovers herself clearly pleased that he will be there. Coming over to me and attempting physical attention again. I flinch and she hugs me.

"How was your holiday" she asks and I move away from her, handing her the alcohol I scavenged. She looks at me imploring me to play nice.

"It was great I went to a fucking fortune teller who sold me some crap about finding undying all consuming love" I laugh and she cackles.

"Oh really" she smirks and I laugh again.

"Fucking load of crap and waste of time" I laugh and she hides her face.

"Matthew" she begins and I don't want to talk about him anymore. I've been very close serval times, to just hoping on my Harley Davidson and showing up at his place. In order to settle my curiosity about his new find, Taylor.

"Matthew has been with Taylor solely since that party I told you about" she says smirking.

"I'm guessing he took the bet very seriously" she smiles.

"He's most definitely won" she snarls.

"The girls a virgin, not anymore though I'll bet" she laughs.

"Can I just say I don't give a fuck" I say to her and she laughs. I head out pacing on my heated marble floor to the huge leather sofa intent on lying on it and falling asleep watching action movies. Occasionally looking out at the city skyline, I'm near the top floor, and imagining exactly what this new girl may look like. I'll bet she is my type. Who am I kidding they're all my type aren't they?

"She has long brown hair" Jen says as if she's reading my mind.

"And he's just like look at me I found Miss world and I'm gonna ask her to marry me" she snickers, tapping at her phone.

I don't interrupt her, I don't ask questions. She talks all on her own. I don't even need to act interested, reallly I want to know absolutely everything.

"Who wears prada to a bloody house party, snob. In her tight red dress." She smirks helping herself to the nuts and snacks I brought in.

"Looked liked she'd had her hair done, and sat on a sun-bed" she sighs.

"Jen are you just a little bit jealous" I tease her and she slaps me.

"No" she says defensively.

"She lap danced him and left with him silly girl little does she know he's just trying to get with her" she adds.

"All that effort, to woo a man that is betting on you behind your back" she sighs.

"I'll bet she laid out her underwear before choosing it" she smirks and I look at her wondering what planet she is from. There's not a human bone in her body.

"What?" She says defensively.

"She hot?" I ask her.

"That's beside the point" she laughs.

"So you're telling me she's hot and she wears prada and she's with Matthew" I say laughing.

"He's using her" she smiles.

"How hot we talking" I laugh and she chucks a cashew nut at me.

"Simple question we're just friends right" I say to her.

"Friends with benefits" she smirks.

"You're jealous of her" I laugh.

"She's hot. Like long brown hair, light tan, looks like she works out. Wears fancy clothes. Smiles too much and can't keep her hands off of him, or Ross for that matter" she says and I try to build up my picture of Taylor.

"Eye colour" I ask her and she laughs out loud.

"Blue. Why" she smirks, happy that I have bitten onto her conversation.

"Blue huh?" I say thinking to myself.

"Would you like to bet Jay" she smirks at me.

"I don't bet on women" I say to her without any hesitation. Jen won't go on at me she knows I will chuck her out.

"Bra size" I ask her and she chortles.

"How should I know" she laughs at me.

"About a C" she says as a guess.

"Tall or" I ask her flashing her my disarming smile and she laughs again.

"Perfect height, perfect build" she says softly.

"Blue eyes, brown hair and hot" she says wistfully.

"Do you want to ruin her life or something" I say to her and she smirks. I finish off my protein shake and consider our conversation over.

"Yes, Jay I do" she smiles broadly at me.
