Taylor's POV

Having a shower without Matthew reminds me of him. Going to sleep, or at least trying to, reminds me of him. Rhea clambers into bed next to me and hugs me. Hearing my tears she sighs and cuddles me.

"I think I need to call him" I say sobbing.

"That can wait until tomorrow, Taylor" she says.

"But" I protest, spiralling into all of the different outcomes of this situation and only liking the one where we end up together.

"No go to sleep" she sighs, I look out into the darkness wondering where he is and what he's doing.

"I love him" I say to her and she nods.

"I love him so much" I cry.

"I know you do. But you talk to him now and you'll come to a decision too early" she reasons.

"You tell him that now and he will think it's okay to hurt you because you'll love him back for it. And Taylor I believe he loves you honestly I do. But that doesn't make any of this okay" she says softly.

"You're right" I tell her leaving my phone off.

"Always right" she smiles and I thank her for being with me and not Malachi. I tell her that I'm sorry for ruining her evening too, and she laughs.

"Don't be silly" she smiles.

"You're my best friend" she says and I close my eyes.

"Whatever you decide I'll make it all happen" she says and I whisper to her that I'm grateful.

"I could be pregnant" I say and she gasps.

"I could be Rhea." I say crying again.

"He tried to get you pregnant deliberately?" she asks me confused.

"We stopped using condoms and he just said that he wouldn't mind if we did" I whisper.

"Did you want that" she asks me softly.

"I wanted all of him and everything that entails" I say softly.

***

Not only is a hangover bad enough, but alongside heartache, it's the worst morning of my life so far. Switching my phone on I gaze at the messages and missed calls.

"Rhea" I whisper as she flutters her eyelashes open.

"Morning" she says sleepily.

"I have missed calls, a lot of them. And one of them is from Jay" I say eyeing her.

"Oh that boy is cold, striking while he can, ignore it" she sighs.

"Taylor" she warns as I tap away at my phone.

"He's an animal and he will send you straight back into one tree hill prison once he's had sex with you" she warns laughing slightly.

"Oh I'm not texting him" I say laughing slightly.

"I'm messaging Ross" I tell her and she breathes out a sigh of relief.
