Situations where you know, you lost from the start

You know, you're gonna end up crying and breaking and hurting and breaking into a million pieces and crying tears of blood for people that don't even deserve your pain
This burning flame that ignites every time with passion but ends up burning my whole soul and my whole heart and my whole existence
Nothing left but ashes and numbness and pain and pain and just so much pain

Could you fall in love with the right people?
With the green-flagged prince charming instead of the red crimson-flagged scarred knight
With a person who is ready to burn for you as much as you burn for them
Just for once
