Madrid, Spain, the year 2022

Dark misty clouds fell on Madrid. The rain seemed like it would never stop. Alana, busy again reading, enjoyed the stormy night. For her, it brought her deep comfort and reminded her of when she and her mother had read books on rainy days. "If only I could revisit the past," she said to herself.

The book she was reading was the story of her adventure, written by Arthur A. Luca. She was surprised by how well the author wrote it; of course, the author himself interviewed her. Continuing her silent reading, she suddenly stopped. Then, she saw words that reminded her of what her mother said long ago. "Never stop exploring, for you might find your true destiny," the Author wrote. Alana had cordially closed the book before she stood up from her chair. She casually walked towards her book collection, eager to find something. She curiously scrolled to the books she had kept for a long time until she finally found it. Alana strainingly pulled out the Album of her mother stuck between two thick dictionaries.

She placed the album on her table beside the book she had just read. As she had opened the book, dust, and grime escaped, and a dead grub fell. The deceased larva had startled Alana, so she blew off the smut. When she touched the book's first page, tears began to drip on the pictures. The Album mainly consisted of pictures of her mother's adventures, and some were just Polaroids of her mother raising Alana. Tears continued to escape as rain poured endlessly on the town.
