Alana's eyes sank into the king's. He shared the curse to Alana. Alana's eyes turned black. Her skin turned pale. Vessels bulged from her skin. Her face developed cracks. Her wounds healed. The Holographic Clones turned into real duplicates of Alana. They can now physically hurt anything. She was now under the control of The King.
"Alana . . . Kill your first love and be with me forever," the King had whispered to her before he gave her a serrated, stygian blade.
She then commanded her clones, who were now alive, to attack an unsuspecting Lewis. They overpowered him straight away. Alana approached him with the intent to kill him. She couldn't stop herself as she couldn't control her body anymore. Lewis screamed, "Snap out of it, Alana! Fight it!" but she couldn't. One of the clones covered Lewis' mouth as Alana lifted the blade to prepare to attack. She had looked at Lewis' eyes before she saw a flashback of the memories with him. The day Lewis proposed to her, and his promise to never leave her. Tears had dripped before the black ink on her eye disappeared. She had looked at the King and commanded her clones to attack him. She followed them. Alana's attacks were like snowballs to the king.
"Snap out of it, Alana," the King said. Reaching for her forehead, he reactivated her curse.
"I wish I could, but you almost made me kill my true love," Alana replied.
Alana then threw the King to the first step of a cemented grand staircase. She and the clones followed. They threw punches one after another, each lifting the king two steps higher. Alana and her clones punched the king until he was slightly incapacitated. They were almost at the top of the grand staircase that led to the golden beam. He stood up weakly; his injured femur prevented him from keeping balance.
"My love . . . don't do me like this . . . please stay with me . . . together . . . we could be against everything . . . even the gods," King Frailty said. "Could I ask for a hug, dear?"
Alana hugged the king reluctantly before she asked, "What is your name, my love?"
"Arthur," the King replied.
"Goodbye, Arthur," Alana said before she kicked the King towards the golden beam. He slowly and painfully perished while Alana looked at him. His death stopped the storm barrier.
Back at the oil rig, the storm almost reached it but was stopped just in time. As the dismal clouds faded, the crew who wore hazmat suits saw traces of acid rain refusing to mix with the clean water.
Alana's curse was withdrawn, her clones disappeared, and she was back to normal. Approaching Lewis, she cried. She was saying 'sorry' to Lewis while she hugged him dearly. Alana didn't want to lose her only love. Lewis finally woke up after being unconscious. Alana cried even more.
"I will never let you go, Lewis. Never," Alana said.
