Madrid, Spain, 2022

Alana, wearing a trench coat, walked the streets of Madrid, trying to find the store she had always come to for freshly-baked garlic bread. She walked in search of the store until she finally found it.

"Good Morning, customer! Welcome to Brent's Garlic bread, where the bread is always fresh," Brent said after Alana had opened the door.

"Hello, Brent. It's sure nice meeting you again," Alana replied.

"Nice outfit, I see. So how was your trip? I heard your career went through the roof," Brent asked.

"Well, it went well. I got engaged," Alana had said before she showed a ring on her finger.

"I see. But I thought we made a promise to be happy single. What happened to that?" Brent asked.

"I guess I beat you," Alana had said before she laughed.

"Nah, I'm just kidding," Brent replied. "So what are you getting? The usual?" He continued.

"Yes, the usual, please," Alana replied.

After she had bought her usual snack, Alana left the store. She had continued to walk on the streets before she received a call from Lewis. He asked if they could go out for dinner tonight. Without hesitation, she agreed. It was already 4:40 PM when Lewis called, so she went home to get dressed. Alana wanted to look presentable, that is, beautiful, but she knew Lewis would always tell her she was gorgeous.

Later that evening, Lewis came to her apartment to pick Alana up. As she descended the stairs, he admiringly stared at her. "Beautiful," Lewis said after he had looked at her red dress. Of course, Lewis wore a tuxedo to make a pair. As the two gracefully hugged, Alana's neighbors watched. Especially, Mara, she would always see the couple kiss. For her, the couple reuniting at the same spot every night was better than the kissing scenes in modern Romance TV Shows.

As any gentleman would do, Lewis had opened the door for Alana before he went into the driver's seat. The car drove smoothly on the road. Alana was busy admiring the moon, as it was a full moon. While Lewis just smirked after he had seen Alana's likings.

As they arrived at the restaurant, reverent servers greeted them. They led them to their table before the waiters asked for their order. The couple ordered some wine and a ribeye steak. It was the only time they could properly talk about life.

                  "It's been a while, hasn't it?" Lewis said. "I missed you . . . You've been gone a long time."

"I know," Alana said. "I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you, make up for our lost time, but you know that my time isn't in my hands. The Agency needs me, the world needs me, now more than ever."

"Then, I'll come with you the next time. I'll protect you."

Alana took out her phone, someone was calling, and when Alana answered the phone, she heard the voice of Colonel Donna.

"Our seismometer detected tectonic activity. We also noticed a storm barrier forming around the island," Donna said.

She asks Alana to join her by tomorrow to investigate the familiar world.

"Seems like your wish has been granted already," Alana said after she had put down the phone.
